I am building a deck and used this tape. It was easy to peel the protective layer off, unlike some I have used. NOTE: stick it in the refrigerator for a couple hours before using, makes peeling much easier. Easy to apply and work with. Time will tell how it holds up and the protection it provides in this Florida heat, rain, and humidity.

The tape seems to apply nicely, but I won’t use it again. Unfortunately, when using hidden clips, the screw binds with the tape and pulls away from the joist, leaving a spot uncovered right where you really want to have it — in between the gaps of the deck boards.

I used this stuff in an unconventional way to seal up all of my door and windows in preps for a major hurricane. Came home to completely water free house!

It works on the joists we already had, but new ones we added it did not adhere to which was annoying. Easily remedied with a nail.

I am building a deck. This tape is suppose to seal around the nail holes after being punctured. It seems to work good and it is much cheaper than the box stores and to do every stud you need alot of it. This tape is 3" so I used it for a double stud support although it doesn't overhangs the studs it should do the trick. You need to be careful not to tear it when it is sitting in the sun it becomes soft.

I like the price of this product. So, I wanted to love the product. You get what you pay for. It barely sticks to the joists. So as you install decking it comes off and are constantly fighting to keep it in place. Pretty thin as well. I much prefer Vycor products. Great adhesion and thick product. I would be happy with slightly lower adhesion and slightly thinner product than Vycor but this just isn't good enough.

Started using the 2 inch a while ago, found it great all my decks I restoredThought I’d give the 3 inch a shot, works well on all my double joistsWill be purchasing more soon

A lot less expensive than the big name guys and works well. Sticky and after installed it was hard to get off.
