I stream baseball video games and use a tablet to connect the external cameras to the recording/streaming software. The problem with dugouts is there often isn't a place to set the tablet where it isn't in the way or in danger of the players knocking it. This device solves that problem wonderfully!I know it's designed for a car's headrest, but the clamping mechanism holds to a chain-link fence just great! Now I can clamp my tablet up and out of the way of the players and I know the tablet is safe. No one can accidently turn off the stream or cameras. Also, after the game, it folds down nice and compact to be put away in the camera bag without being too bulky.Tested with and holds a 10" tablet securely.

Personally, I don't really love my kids using electronics, at least not as much as they do. I tried for a very long time to keep the tablet use to a minimum, but I have since realized that we live in a different world now, and electronics aren't going anywhere. The one place that I don't really mind them using tablets is in the car because it's the only way to enjoy a peaceful and quiet drive sometimes. My son loves mac and cheese, and we often go through a drive thru, so he can eat on the way to his after school activities...It pains me so much to watch this kid try to hold his tablet, his bowl, and his spoon at the same time, while in a moving vehicle. We have had more spills than I can count. This device is such a lifesaver. It was extremely easy to install, and it works with not only tablets, but phones too! The arm extends out, making it easy to reach and the device locks securely in place! My son can put his tablet in and get it out, without any help, which is great, and I've even noticed him leaving it on there, long after he's done eating. The only thing that you need to consider is that it may not be compatible with certain cases and other accessories, such as pop sockets, etc. My son's case had a stand on the back of it, and it was not easy to remove and re-install so I ended up having to just get him a case that didn't have such a bulky stand.

Overall, this is a great headrest mount. It's sturdy and stable, and it doesn't feel like it's going to break easily like some other mounts I've used. It easily fits a 10" tablet with a thick rubber case.My only issue, and this is something I should have thought about before purchasing, is that the design requires the mount, when completely folded, still stick out from the headrest. In most situations, I'm sure that's not a problem. In my situation, I need to have the seat pushed all the way back which means the tablet is going to be within arms reach of my toddler. Just a warning to the taller people out there to take that into account before purchasing any headrest mount.Otherwise, I'm happy with it. It does what it's supposed to do, and I don't feel like the tablet is going to fall out or break the mount.

Any kind of headrest clamp or holder is difficult to get it right. They are never easy to install, want to stay in place or ends up breaking up prematurely. Although it certainly is very convenient to mount my tablet or phone on this seat's headrest, this mount ends up putting too much pressure on the slides or the seat which is not ideal to prevent any type of damage to the seat. Otherwise, I may be looking at very expensive repair and surely enough, for only 1 week of having this finally installed and started using it, it started putting weight on the bottom of the seat slide and pushing down the leather seat. I ended up taking it off.

Super simple to set up and really durable. Perfect for the little ones, especially during long journeys when they can enjoy shows on a tablet or phone.
