This gun is just gorgeous and feels like you are holding a piece of history. I have no complaints about the overall fit or finish. But that Spring action bolt takes all the fun out of this gun. The action is completely loose and shaky and you can just shake the mess out of it if you want. While the bolt is almost all metal, some of the parts are plastic. With how hard you have to slam this bolt forward to cock the spring, that cannot be a good thing. Now where this thing really loses stars is the design of the spring action in the bolt. Almost every spring bolt action gun I've shot cocks the spring as you pull the bolt back. This one cocks the spring as you push the bolt forward. It is an incredibly hardy spring too and requires you essentially punch this thing forward. Do not buy this for a kid because they will have a difficult time getting that spring cocked. After an afternoon of shooting, my palm and the web of my hand are sore. This thing is painful to shoot, which isn't something anyone should be able to say about an airsoft gun. The need to punch the action forward, which is incredibly tough when cycling the action from the shoulder, will often cause the round to jam and forces the spring to shoot backward, which makes it so that of you push that bolt forward again, you'll get a double feed. I never purchased this for use in actual airsoft matches because it is clearly not practical for that, but I expected it to be fun, and it's not. This one might have to go back. I should have gone with the gas option.
