Widely Compatibility

No light effect
The bottom half of each key is translucent with a very slight tint.But not completely transparent, the letters do not transmit light.

PBT Double Shot Keycap
These keycaps are made of PBT Double Shot. Compared with ABS material, PBT is abrasion-resistant, heat-resistant, dirt-resistant, non-colour-flaking, and can be cleaned with water, providing you with a better and comfortable experience

I am so blown away by this keycap set. I have been searching high and low for a set with a style like this. This didn’t disappoint at all. The order came very neatly packaged. All of the caps were securely stored and already laid out exactly how you’d need to install them. They are much thicker than I was expecting, which I love. It turned my kind of thocky switches into sounding reallyyyy deep and thocky. I put it on a few other switches and it definitely tends to deepen out all of the different sounds. Aside from the great sound, these feel great. They’re smooth but with just enough texture to kind of get a grip on the keys. I’ve had some so slick that it feels like my fingers are sliding all over, so I love this. It offers tons of key varieties, along with a bunch of keycaps that are just purely artistic with flowers, waterfalls, all kinds of stuff. I absolutely love this whole set.

The spacebar was nice and straight without warps and the legends were quite clean and legible. This large set contains all the alternative caps for compatibility with all the layouts I use, including the 60%, 65%, 75%, and 98% boards.

Nice color, and the alphas are pretty good overall, but the modifiers are pretty rough. You can see that clearly in the pictures on the product page. Pretty inconsistent sizing, spacing, orientation, etc. Not a huge deal to some but it's definitely not something I can overlook. I took the alphas and threw them on my Lilac Zoom75 EE with the mods (+ a few other keys) from WS PBT Lavender Bliss. I’m satisfied with the build, and I really do quite like the alphas but I can’t rate this any higher than 3 stars with how the mods are. Though, again, that may or may not matter to you.

I recently added these White Jade Cherry Profile keycaps to my RK 98 keyboard, and I'm pleased with the outcome. The keycaps are true to the color shown in the product listing, and the text is bold and sharp. However, the white on white jade text can be a bit hard to read, but this won't be a problem if you're a touch typist. They fit my keyboard perfectly, and I even had some extra keycaps left over after filling my board (see photo). They arrived loosely in the trays within the box, which was a bit concerning. The keycaps feel like standard quality, nothing exceptional compared to the premium feel of higher-end keycaps, but they perform well enough for casual and beginner users. Overall, they are a solid set, though they could be a bit more affordable. For the price, the quality doesn't meet expectations.

TL:DR Translucent does not mean legible in the dark, but aside from apparent blemishes due to the manufacturing process, these hold their own against any other non-shine-through Cherry profile keycapI would have scoffed it you told me there was such a thing as “the keyboard hobby” a few years ago. But, as someone who dabbles in fiction, I can be rather picky when it comes to keyboards, and I work in tech, so I have been learning a lot about keyboards lately.As I have said in some of my other reviews, the infamous IBM Model M is responsible for a lot of why keyboards are the way they are – it was even the product of a focus group back in its day. The layout is one of the biggest benefactors of this research, eventually cementing into what us keyboard nerds call the standard 104-key layout.Granted, this is just a review of the keycaps, not the keyboard. But while the buckling springs and seemingly instinctive (if you’ve taken a typing class or two) layout have become infamous among keyboard aficionados, keycap profiles seem too basic to mention.Of course, that’s not true at all, and if you like the Model M, you would like OEM profile keycaps. The surfaces are a little rounder and have a bit of a bevel to catch your finger tips.These are NOT OEM profile keycaps, which are my favorite to be honest. Cherry profile keycaps are fairly close to OEM keycaps, though, but they tend to be flatter and squarer.Personally, I think if you’re going to have a backlight keyboard, then you should have shine-through keycaps, but there are plenty of people who are happy with non-shine through keycaps even through there’s a glowing rainbow beneath them.These are marketed as “translucent.” Are they? Kind of. I tested these on a keyboard that came with black, non-shine-through keycaps. I skipped the home row and the one under it so I could make comparisons, but to be honest, from a purely tactile perspective I can’t even tell the different. They do glow a little bit better than the black ones, but not enough to read the legends in the dark. There also these strange tiny rectangular cutouts on some of the keycaps where pinpoints of light escape. I’m assuming this has something to do with how the keycaps were manufactured, but I honestly have no idea why they exist. They may look like blemishes or scratched off sections in the dark. But you probably won’t be using these keycaps in the dark.

Very cute set for the price! Came in a standard box with a tiny keycap puller. The font is a little uneven if you look very closely but it looks just fiine for normal use
