The machining and finish on this mount is excellent. Mounting an action camera directly to the stem on a mountain bike does not work for making a decent video. Way too much vibration and bumps are transmitted right to the camera. It was advertised as being ideal for mountain biking. I should have known better but being a new user of GoPro cams I thought maybe it would work.I'm going to try it out on my adventure touring bike and see how it works on smoother terrain.This would be good to use as a "dash cam" mount on a bicycle for a commuter.

Fits perfectly on my bike (Specialized Diverge). I use it to mount my GoPro Hero 5 Session and it works excellently. The included screw holds on to the device just fine, and the device doesn't budge at all going over tree roots and rocks at 30~ km/h as far as I've tested
