I highly recommend this if you have furniture or smaller areas that are hard to reach/clean with the larger carpet attachment. I don't recommend using it on carpet that has a dense pile, but it's great on any flat surface. I had to turn the suction level down because I thought it was going to pull the upholstery off my sofa! I definitely would subscribe this to everyone, and certainly if you have pets.

This was an OEM product from Kenmore. It works well and it lasts quite a long time. The only drawback is the price is double what it used to be.

Kenmore vacuum Pet Power Mate is an exact replacement for the original equipment. It works great right out of the box. The pet power mate is the best tool for stairs. Highly recommend.

This worked well for a year. It stopped working when the brush rotator ends got clogged with hair and dirt and didn't spin as easily. After I opened it up and cleaned it, as I had many times before with the Kenmore part before I had to replace it with this, it wouldn't work. Even though the brush could now move freely, it seemed like it wasn't getting power. I was frustrated that the original part stopped working after five years, and now this one is done after one year.Also, it wasn't heavily used during the year that it did work.

Fair Disclosure: This little powered attachment (not the vacuum) has an awful life expectancy and it had bad reviews even when I bought the vacuum nearly 20 years ago. For the time that the attachment worked I loved it enough to want the replacement which, unsurprisingly the company has stopped producing. I don't have high expectations that this will last a long time, no fault of the seller's, it just is a flawed product. That said, it works now and it's worth it (to me) even knowing that its lifetime will not be as long as the vacuum which has worked so well for so many years.
