Attention:
1.Manual adapter without autofocus or aperture ring.
2.Skillful installation, don't too much force.
3.Adapting an APS-frame lens to a full-frame camera may generate vignetting, some cameras could correct it by adjusting APSC.
4.Adapting a full-frame lens to an APS-frame camera provides excellent edge-to-edge sharpness. The smaller image field helps minimize the effects of lens distortion and aberration by using the 'sweet spot' or center of the larger lens image circle. And it will magnify the focal length by 1.6 on Canon, 1.5 on Nikon and Sony, 2.0 on M4/3 camera
Infinity focus position:
The position of the infinity mark [∞] of the telephoto lens is shifted slightly to the positive side to enable focus adjustment even when focus shift is caused due to temperature changes. The shift range is denoted by an L-shaped line, Be sure to check the focus through the viewfinder even when you shoot at infinity.
No Lens Attached' - Warning Message Appears:
1.If your camera indicates "lens is not properly installed", please modify the camera settings: 'Menu' -> 'Setup' -> 'Release w/o Lens' -> 'Enable' (Exact naming and location may change depending on camera model). If your lens does not have a manual aperture control ring, it will be maximum aperture by default.If you want to adjust the aperture but without manual control ring, then you need to remove the adapter ring and adjust the aperture on the camera.
2.Set camera "release shutter without lens" to enable when using the adapter for the first time, or the camera will fail to recognize the lens and the shutter may not be released.

The adapter does what it is supposed to do - adapt a Nikon F lens onto a Leica M body. No electronic contacts. It just works. The adapter is well made with quality materials.

This does not couple with the Leica M rangefinder. You cannot focus it properly other than using live view on the M digital cameras. I did not realize this until I mounted it on my Leica M10R with a Nikon 85mm lens. I am going to return it.

購入した某オールドレンズと合わない(途中どこかに当たり最後まで回らずカチッと止まらない)為に問い合わせ。先方が希望された通り接続動画を送りました。合わせて参考になるかと思い、レンズの各部分詳細画像も付けて送りました。返ってきた答えは回す(接続)方向のみ。それは最初から何回も試しているのでこれ以上力を入れ回すとレンズかアダプターが壊れる旨をお伝えせさせていただき如何すればよいか送りましたがそれ以降何日待っても答えは梨の礫。。。レンズ購入先に経過をお伝えしたところ返品を快諾していただき助かりましたがこの物は残ったままです。接続可・不可に限らず原因が分からず仕舞いって事が一番・・・。レンズ購入先の方が親切にチェックし調べていただきましたが他の物は接続おｋ。と言う事は 言わずもがな です。

このアダプターは距離計は連動しませんが、レンズ被写界深度を利用するなり、レーザー距離計で測りますファインダーはユニバーサルファインダーを使用しています

I agree with the earlier reviewers: it's easy to mount and unmount Nikon lenses; it's easy to fit and remove this on the Leica.I tested it with an M240, and compared three lenses: the Leica 130 Tele Elmar; the classic Nikkor 105 f2.5, and a Nikon kit 28-80 zoom. With the last two I had to use live view and an EVF for focus.All three allowed me to choose my aperture manually, and all three gave me very useable files. If you're thinking of purchasing, this is a safe and inexpensive way to mount Nikon lenses on a Leica M. Pixel-peeping, the Leica lens and the classic Nikkor produced very similar and very high quality results; the kit lens gave lesser quality, but still useable results.The best Leica lenses are world-class, so why did I buy a Nikon adapter? First, there are no M-mount zoom lenses. Second, you can buy the superb classic Nikkor 105mm for about $100 used; the Leica Elmarit 90mm cost me about $1200. So I can definitely see a real value in purchasing this adapter.Now let’s see — which Nikon zoom should I buy? It’ll be fun deciding!

I lost my original Novoflex adaptor and wanted to replace it when I saw this adaptor in Amazon and thought I give it a try and was very impressed with the quality f this item specially considering the price difference and all the savings it got me.

The adapter works well. All the Nikon lenses fit. But keep in mind there is no way that the mechanisms of the Leica will function with these Nikon lenses. This adapter is fine for the Leica digital. It is of no use for the film Leicas... This is why I gave it a 4 star and not a 5.

I ordered a different more expensive adapter that was rubbish and I ended up returning it.This adapter works perfectly. Sturdy construction an Solid click when attaching lens and adapter to my Leica M246. Easy and fast Lens removal. I'm very happy with this product!

Unfortunately, this will not let you control/adjust the aperture on lenses without an aperture dial. It's basically a plug-on mount for standard Nikon F mount lenses for Leica M.It works great, fits perfectly. Easy to install and remove. If you have Live View on your digital M, you can focus pretty well. But if you have a lens without an aperture dial, you're stuck at the smallest aperture.
