My Daughter is a sour dough bread maker, she loves this especially the size, baking and the dough feeding can all be done in one bowl. Works well, the bread is easy to remove and it is a great value for the money . The bread looks great !

This thing does everything. I use it for mixing, bulk fermentation, proofing and then flip it over to use the bowl as a lid when baking. Makes perfect loaves and cleans up quickly.

It's the best way to bake bread. It's so much easier to only have to use one pan. The perfect size for homemade bread. It's a little pricey, but it's worth the price for how much I use it.

So so good. This bowl makes mixing, proofing, and baking a breeze. It is beautiful, well made, heavy. My bread always turns out beautifully when baked in this bowl. I also have liked several of the recipes (like the giant cinnamon roll) that came with this bowl. If you bake bread often, you need this.

I was looking for places to purchase this item. It was more expensive at my local big box store, Ave it didn't include the lid. I just received this order, and I'm thrilled. Appears to be the genuine product at a reduced price. I live in a rural area, most packages arrive broken. But this was packaged carefully and beautifully.All around, very happy!

Thank you for an ingenious product! I have been baking sourdough breads and more for about a year. It’s definitely an art, learned/tweaked by trial and error. I baked my first sourdough boule today with wonderful results! We're a small family, so the boule size is perfect for us. I love that I can mix, proof and bake in the same bowl! And clean up is a breeze. Quick shipping also. I'm thankful I found this in the KitchenAid store on Amazon. KitchenAid.com is temporarily out of stock on this item. Thank you Amazon!

I really like(d) the ease of this bowl. It latches on to the bottom of my very old Kitchenaid stand mixer. (We are talking the '80's when I worked for a department store call center and got 15% off of purchases. Score! When I opened up the box I was surprised at how sturdy the bowl is, without being too heavy. The results have been stellar! I plan to try a sourdough recipe tomorrow using the bowl. I will report back on the results. (I feel like I am going "rogue" with a recipe NOT included with the unit.) Even if I never make a different recipe than what is in the users manual, it will have been worth the money.

My first load of gluten free sourdough turned out well, I will try to perfect my recipe and try again to get a loaf with more rise. The bowl is very nice, beautifully made and I love the speckled finish! Some people said their dough stuck and baked on…after I turned it on the lid to bake I took a minute to wipe the bowl off with a damp cloth prior to baking and the bread dough did not stick or bake on.

Baking bread was getting really annoying. Moving the dough ball from vessel to vessel was disturbing the proofing process. I would have a great rise and then after handling the dough just to get from proofing to the oven, inevitably handling sticky dough, and in my opinion causing the rise to fall and ending up with bread that was good.. but without the airy texture I was looking for.This bread bowl was great, allowing me to mix in the same vessel that eventually I would proof and bake in.Making bread takes trial and error, and maybe this bowl didn’t automatically allow me to achieve master baker status, BUT it did make the process more enjoyable, less mess, less sticky dough getting stuck on every surface it touched. I recommend for sure!!
