This cheese slicer is a great step up from the heavy marble cheese slicers. The stainless steel is easy to clean it is light weight compared to the heavy marble cheese slicers. The wire is nice and tight,it doesn’t feel flimsy. Cuts through a block of cheddar cheese nicely. I haven’t broken a wire yet and I use it daily. This is a nice slicer. Definitely worth the price.
