It’s nice to have speed and rpm and all indicators in one place when I look down. Hooking up was easy. Set up could have had better instructions. But I figured it out

The programming instructions are terrible. It's obviously a translation into English, bad verb tense and misspellings,Where was the proof reader???The unit is pretty and looks like a quality unit and it was cost effective compared to the competition , however if I can't get it to work it is of no use to me. I have read the instructions multiple times (every freaking word) I have spend a couple of hours at it trying to get to respond. Today I just wanted to get it out of KPH to MPH, that was my goal. I called KOSO America and talked to the tech support people. He told me exactly what to do , I thought I understood, but when I went to the gauge there was NO happiness. I've invested 4-8 hours so far trying to figure out the programming over a weeks time and I'm no closer to getting it up and running than I was when it came out of the box. I looked at the other write ups and I didn't see anyone having my kind of issues, so it could be just me, Even when I get it up and running, and I will, I cannot give more than 2 stars (and that's all on product quality) because of the hassle with the programming, I would not buy again.

Nice unit but I needed to use a signal filter to keep the tach from jumping. Koso has one that is overpriced. Glow Shift makes one for $8.99 that solves the problem. Also, to get the speedo right, I had to use a GPS speedometer (radar detector). I used a BMW speedometer signal sender on my airhead R80G/S. The math never worked out correctly. Thing works great and is easy to read. Very bright lights.

Works fairly well. Wired directly into the stock sensors except speedo. Speedo settings did not work properly, but I believe it's because my rotor bolts are closer together than most bikes. Had to fashion my own mount for speedo sensor for the same reason. Gauge itself works great and look good.

I bought this unit to fit on my GS 1000 S from 1980 with electronic ignition.Every function works perfectly but make sure to connect the tacho input to the electronic ignition pick-up to get a correct indication on the tachometer.
