Purchased a Kufa 9 ft 5/6 composite flyrod. It was on the heavy side with very little sensitivity but very fishable until butt end fell off in the water resulting in rear seat ring coming off and almost losing my reel. Holding it together now with electrical at this time. I heard Okuma were quite a bit better. I'll probably order one and save up for an Orvis.

Yet another Chinese fly rod that will work very well for trout, bass, panfish, etc., and will not break the bank. The hardware on this rod looks first rate and while the rod cannot be described as fast (slower end of medium fast) it will throw a tight loop and in the hands of a good caster will easily fire out 60+ feet of line. At 3.6oz it feels a little heavy, but maybe that means it won't break when stressed. In the last 6 years I've seen a ton of light, but fragile rods hit the market and have had more rods break on me in the last year than 20 years before that.Perfect starter rod for trout.11.3.21: Took it out to a local lake with an intermediate shooting head setup. Cast just fine and landed about 30 15/16" trout. I don't see any problems with this rod except that it's not a Sage. :)

Bought this to replace a broken rod and to use mostly for trolling wet flies. Turned out to be a great rod for trolling but also casts like a much more expensive rod. Very happy with the purchase.
