I love these bowls! This is a set of two, which is enough for me and my partner or guest. They are big enough for a lunch or dinner serving of pasta, stew, mashed potatoes, salad, etc. You can bake in these bowls or simply eat from them. The size is right to fit my electric oven. I use very simple (and healthy) recipes, like baked potato with a chicken breast, and they turn out just right.The workmanship is excellent. The ceramic bowls are thick and sturdy. The glaze finish is smooth and shiny. Very pretty set, a great addition to my collection of dishes. They can make a terrific housewarming gift. Five stars.

These dishes were so well packed for transit. And they would be a great gift shipped to someone. I washed them before putting them in the cabinet. Everyone loved the design, colors, and weight. I will use these for pasta, roasts or stews, and even big salads. I like that the dish is even unlike other salad or soup bowls. I think it helps that you can bake in these for a tart or pie. I would say this would be great for a cobbler!
