The batter bowl was a birthday gift for a friend who recently retired and now has time to bake. She loved it. The color is great for her kitchen and she loves its size and spout.

This is exactly the perfect size and depth for a batter bowl. Perfect for pancake batter. It's not too heavy. I chose the color "shallot" which looked like a cream color online but is actually a pale purple/lavender color.I was not impressed with the packaging..a cardboard box inside a larger box. No foam or any type of packaging material for protection. I could see UPS definitely breaking some of these the way they handle shipments these days. Also it was made in Thailand, for anyone thinking they are still made in France. A bit pricey for a bowl but I had a hard time finding a good substitute that wasn't plastic, melamine, etc. and I know I will get lots of use out of it so it made sense for me.

I love the bowl itself and Le Creuset has a great reputation. My problem was with the packaging. It’s a breakable bowl that was packaged in a box with no padding. When mine arrived it was pouring outside and I didn’t even cut the box open, it just ripped open and I caught the bowl before it fell on the ground. If the seller sees this, please package items better in the future.

This is my second batter bowl. I use my first one so much that I decided I need another one! Le Creuset has changed the design a bit, it’s slightly smaller and doesn’t have the rounded shape anymore, but it’s still great. The handle makes it ideal to mix anything from batter to a salad. I use it almost every day!

Good sized jug. We make a lot a pancakes and Yorkshire puds & this makes pouring the mixture very easy, no drips! It's large enough to whip up muffins and small cake mixtures in. The pretty teal colour adds an element of joy. I got the matching medium spatula as well which just seems to work very efficiently. I never knew there were spatulas and there were spatulas (had a sheltered life).
