I love these when warming food , especially soups in microwave, which I do a lot in wintertime. I bought this set as a gift for a neighbor I know she will enjoy as much as I do. Great to use if you are eating while watching TV , hot or cold food. I use a lot when eating ice cream.

I purchased this product for my family for last Christmas. They loved them and said they worked great in the microwave. I had gotten the blue, black and the Christmas ones. I heat my oatmeal every morning in the microwave so ordered some for our household. I have used the same one over and over with oatmeal, soup etc and they hold up well. I also ordered some to hand out to friends. I highly recommend.We no longer have to touch the hot bowl out of the microwave.Fill a bowl with your food, set the bowl into the hugger and stick it in the microwave.Note: I have used these with a plate but since the huggers are sewn for a bowl, I heat the food on the plate then once done I pull the plate onto the hugger and it works. The hugger flattens enough to hold the plate carefully.

This item was a hit for all I gave it to. It helped them remove a bowl from the microwave once it was warmed. It was deep enough to cover a bowl and protect their fingers. It can be washed should it get splashed. The design was not gaudy and the men loved it.

I love these things! I use them when microwaving bowls. I don't need oven mitts when I take the bowl out now! They're pretty and match my kitchen too. I haven't needed to wash them yet so I can't speak on how well they hold up after washing.

The material is thick, well finished. I had one before for many years. That one was home made by someone. This one is close to it.I use it for holding bowls in the microwave.
