This was ordered to attach to the walking harness worn by our 110# German Shepherd Dog. It works very well when we pass other dogs on a path. Just a quick reach; giving me good solid contact with her in case the other dog wants to come too close.

I am older and I have been struggling with my large dogs. I have a 112lb puppy and he has been difficult to work with. I have been using this short lead with a head halter I have also purchased from amazon. It has made an incredible difference. I don't have to try and keep track of a length of leash I am not using while my dog is jumping up and down and wiggling and pulling. It is a short leash that, with the head halter, goes straight to his face which enables me to control him and hang on to everything, without anything being awkward. It is working really well and my shoulders aren't being wrenched and I can hold onto the lead while I am working with him. The leash has enough length that I can hold him while he's getting out of the car, while I turn around and close the car or house doors, while I get my purse and keys, without me having to worry about he or I getting tangled up or tripping on excess leash. It is also really strong so I don't have to worry about it breaking and so far it hasn't stretched or burned my hands. It is an excellent quality product and I would buy it for my other dogs and I definitely recommend it.
