I have a flashlight obsession and bought 2 of these due to the sale price. I have to say the biggest thing that annoys me about a lot of lights is they give false claims about the power or settings of their lights. This one is 100% accurate and works great. I was a bit worried when 1 of them didn't work out of the box, but the battery just was drained. Charged it up and good 2 go! With the diffuser this also acts as a crazy bright, almost blinding. Great for work, camping, hiking, walking the dogs, storms, power outages etc. I'd recommend these highly!

The YouTube channel 704 Tactical recommended this inexpensive light with the caveat that the on/off switch was extremely hard to operate. He even showed this in his video, but I figured for the price it was worth taking a chance and his other light recommendations where spot on. This light is medium sized, plenty bright enough for everyday use and rechargeable, which was the main reason I purchased it. However, after less than two weeks, actually 13 days the tail switch stopped working. Which is sad because I bought two of them, one for me and one for my mother. I hope hers last longer than mine did. If it does stop working, I will update this review. Hope this helps others.

This light is ok, but not great. It is bright and the settings function as they are supposed to. The little lamp bulb thing that comes with it seems to work well enough, but I doubt I'll ever use it. My light needed about an hour of charging when I first pulled it out of the box.The user interface of this flashlight is poor. The switch is very difficult to operate. If you have joint problems in your hands or fingers or arthritis, this is not the flashlight for you. Second, you can't just turn the light on and then turn it off. You have to cycle through all the modes before it turns off. Third, the specialty modes (strobe, slow strobe, and SOS) are similar in that you have to turn the light on, then double click, then cycle to your desired mode, then cycle through the other modes to turn it off.The light is worth the $10 I paid, but I don't plan to buy another one.

Very bright. Bought this for my son’s birthday. The only down side is the on off button is a little difficult to press. Other than that it’s great

Pretty decent mid sized flashlight for a budget price, I paid under $9.00 for mine and the price point was what made me want to try it out. At 4x1 inches and just under 3 ounces it is a bit large for edc pocket carry. Appears well made and sturdy and the aluminium body is nice. Decent pocket clip but not two sided for clipping to a hat brim. Beam is bright and has three levels and strobe functions also. The biggest drawback to me is the tiny tail switch to turn the light on and off. It is small enough that using a fingertip is the best way I found to engage it . Not to bad after getting use to it but far from ideal. Not a deal breaker for me . This will make a decent back up light but will not be a daily carry light for me due to the size. Comes with a good shade or defuser and charging cable.

This little light packs a big punch. Considering its size and that it only has 1 LED, the brightness level is impressive. It uses a 3535 LED, and while I don’t have a way to gauge the lumens, when comparing it with other flashlights I have I would say 500 seems about right. The metal exterior feels solid and tough. There’s texture etched into the metal as well as some groves, which improves grip while holding. There’s a strong belt clip that holds firmly in place. To charge, simply flip up the rubbery waterproof flap at the bottom. Plug in the included USB-C cable (using your own USB-A wall charger) and wait until the light turns from red to green. It takes approximately 3 hours to fully charge and can shine at 500 lumens for 4 hours before needing to be recharged. I’ve had the flashlight for about a month and haven’t needed to charge it more than once. Because of this, I don’t believe it suffers from a parasitic draw, which makes the light dependable when you need it.There are two things I wish it had:1) I wish I could shut it off instantly. Unfortunately, you must cycle through the options before it turns off. If I have it on the default 500 lumens setting, I need to click it to 300 lumens, then click it to 100 lumens, and then click it to turn it off. That’s 3 clicks to turn off. I would have preferred being able to just hold the button down and have it instantly shut off, but it doesn’t work that way.2) I wish it had an adjustable focus. As it is, it has one beam setting, which is set to point forward and into the distance. There’s no way to spread the light out more to see a wider closeup area. This light is designed for targeting a signal focal point rather than a wide area.### Conclusion ###For a compact flashlight, this is an impressive option. I love the look. It only weighs 2.9 ounces but feels solid and well-built. While I wish I could turn it off instantly, I’m not too sad about a lack of focus. I like that it’s set to work best for going on walks at night as well as looking for parts and tools you may have dropped while working on a project. This little light is a good value for what you get, and very handy to have around.
