No lo usé yo, fue un regalo, pero llegó a tiempo, en buenas condiciones y cumple con las expectativas. Es lo que dice ser y funciona bien.

It is what it is...or is it? I mean yeah it’s a plastic box with a lid. But I was surprised. Mine is glass like crystal clear plastic. Sturdier than I imagined too. If you don’t get one that came packaged or shipped properly with scratched plastic then it is probably a bad representation of the item. Mine was mint. Lid is sturdy. Little clear door on top is pretty rigid to open/close, but I found myself just taking the whole lid on/off as needed.

My classroom has snails as class pets. We keep 5 adult snails in this and there is plenty of room. The lid is great because it’s vented well and we can spray the snails sometimes without opening it. It also allows for a bit of humidity. I found it perfect for our snails and apparently so did they because they laid eggs. It easy to clean and can be fully submerged in water if needed. It’s great also because it’s clear, so the kids are able to view the pet from all angles. It’s also been jerked around a bit by the pre-k students so I would say it’s pretty sturdy.

Excelente producto respecto a calidad precio, recomendable para usarlo como pesera, se puede usar con un calentador de pocos watts sin miedo a quemarse si se coloca de manera precisa

I bought this Critter cage for toads or small turtles that my son might find in the yard. While the cage is bigger than I expected and the price was right on, I was a little skeptical after reading some of the reviews saying they had gotten cracked cages. Unfortunately the same held true for the cage we received. The shipping box was perfectly fine, body plastic of the Critter cage is cracked and broken in the corner. I am keeping the cage because my son wants to use it right now. It will hold water because the crack is in the upper corner, but it's kind of disheartening to know that this new item we purchased is already damaged.

The cover itself is hard to open after you close it, almost felt like I had to rip it apart. Because of that, a part of the cover broke off. Now it is easier to open but I feel it might not be as secure now. I use this tank for my snails though so I am not worried but for people who use it for stronger creatures, it might be a problem. It was bigger than I expected which is nice so my snails have a lot of space now. The clear plastic lid is easy to open and close.

This little acrylic containers are great for bettas. The large is around 3 gallons, and provides a good amount of space for her or him to swim around in. Add some sand and a plant, and your betta will be much happier than in a tiny cup.Having a lid is great. Bettas can and will jump. FYI - if your betta does jump, he can survive for a surprisingly long time out of water. Put him back in, can't hurt and you might be surprised. He will probably need some stress ease or salt to combat infection. There is an area pre-punched in the lid for removal, if you'd like to add a small filter or heater. If you do daily 10% water changes, you can probably skip the filter (a turkey baster works great for this), but I do recommend a heater if your ambient temperature is lower than high 70's. Bettas come from Thailand, and like water around 80 degrees. If you heat, add a thermometer to monitor please.Feedback on my reviews is very welcome! Thanks!

While we had to order this a second time, they shipped with a large item and the keeper came destroyed, luckily Amazon has a great return policy. Make sure you order individually or with something that isn't going to be packaged with it and destroy it.We have medium and small and have used these countless times (I think it has a skink we caught in it right now at time of review). One thing I did was take some old leftover tutu material (white) and hotglue and line the top on the inside so smaller critters couldn't get out. We have had all kinds of caterpillars, various insects, amphibians, and anything we decide we can safely feed and raise without killing. These work great. We have given several as gifts, and they were immediately used by the receivers. Nice size and nice to be able to replace jars and other "containers" with these.

I have owned similar items over many years. These are very expensive where I live and I was happy to find them on Amazon.com for a reasonable price with free shipping. For those unhappy with the cover colors, it does say in the description that colors are "assorted." These are plastic, so one has to take care that they are not dropped or scratched with hard objects. Also the handles are not meant for heavy lifting; these can be easily lifted from their bottoms without the stretch and distortion common to thin-walled plastic containers. That being said, I received two of these and both have stood up well. The bases are sturdy, despite being filled with water for my bettas. The covers securely snap to the bases. The central opening also snaps securely. I have owned other brands of kritter keepers and the central openings were not secure so that I had to place a heavy objects on the tops to keep my critters from escaping. My bettas enjoy the space. It's true that bettas can be kept in small containers but they become lethargic and depressed. I "upsized" their swimming area, added a few more floating plants (alas, plastic ones), and they've come to life. I've been rewarded with bettas that swim and strut their glorious fins and colors.
