Good value for the money- my outside garage lights aren’t that old so I bought these dusk to dawn sensors to save electricity- they work great! I have LED bulbs and you just screw the bulbs into these sensors- very easy- make sure the sensor eye is facing front not the side

Only issues is that the sensor really requires significant change in light conditions to switch on and off.

First let me say that I review most of the purchases I make on Amazon. I'm not someone who only writes reviews when they are negative...this is perhaps the first one star review I've given in the many years of ordering. The product packaging is cheap, the product is as cheaply built as the packaging and of the four that came in the box, 2 don't work. I know it's product failure because I rotated the 2 working sockets with the different fixtures and bulbs to eliminate failure from any other source...it's the sensor. There is no trouble shooting paperwork in the box or online. The bulbs just flash when installed. No matter what i do. I'm sending them back and won't be looking for replacement, just a refund

Like others have said, these are pretty big, they cause the bulbs to stick out of the fixtures by an inch or two. They work well for my needs. Lights turn on and off automatically as they are designed to do.

I found the sensor easy to face correctly. We have five lights in the front: two porch lights, one lamp post and two garage lights. I wondered about the lamp post since it is only perhaps 8’ away from the garage lights, but I turned the sensor to face the other way, and all is well. I get a kick out of the way the lights turn themselves on and off at slightly different times as the daylight fades and rises again - they’re highly sensitive. This solution works well for me and I can recommend it to others.
