THEY ARE VERY THIN MATERIAL THE 6 AND 3 YEAR OLD BROKE VERY QUICKLY EVEN BEFORE THE BATTERIES WORE OUT.

Durable! Has survived many battles! The kids enjoy selecting the colours of their fav Jedi and being able to attach the lightsabers together is a fun feature. Would make a great gift as well!

Gifted this to my 5yr old nephew on his birthday and he loved it, even though when used as a single sword it's a little big and long for his size. His older brothers and I enjoyed it too. Was great that it can be detached to two swords. Sound effects are also good, along with the changing lights.

My six year old grandson asked Santa for a light saber. What a delight it is to see him join the two and practice his moves while watching the Star Wars movie. The sounds are very realistic, the color changes let him “battle” his little sister in a darkened room. They are enthralled. Seems to be well made and collapses for easy storage. Every little Jedi needs this.

These might not work for a die hard fan who wants movie replicas, but for kids who love the franchise and want to battle, they're perfect. Light up, make a turning on sound and make the right noises when you hit them together.I'm really happy with the price, and so far they've held up to being knocked around. The only complaint I've heard is that there's no option for green, so the good guys have to make do with blue or purple.

My 7 year old was absolutely belated when they showed up. First strike of the first battle- not very hard mind you- there was a notable crack on one of the “sleeves” that extended about 1.5” down- enough for the next strike to break it off completely, as the coupling is compromised. I have done my research and if you don’t want to spend $70+ for one, it seems like you just continue to purchase these. A little disappointed. The ones I had when I was a kid were made with thick plastic. These ones are not only thinner but much more brittle.

Bought for my 7 year old. We absolutely love them! They came ready to play right out of the box with batteries included. Love the color change options and fun sounds. Great gift for a Star Wars fan!

Worth buying. Not as flimsy as I thought based on reviews. Three out of six already have issues lighting up and turning on but I'm guessing there are batteries I can replace? Not sure, as I haven't checked yet about batteries, but they are fun and I was pleasantly surprised at being satisfied with the quality and coolness of the toy. We get good use out of these. The plastic sword part cracked on one of these (took a lot of force to break by a very violent child lol) and I just used packing tape to fix it and it's back to basically 100%. Great toy in my opinion. We love these.
