The pan is the right tool for grilling in the backyard or the backwoods. And like our cast iron cookware, these pans are seasoned with our proprietary vegetable oil formula, providing an easy release oil finish that improves with use. The heavy 12 gauge carbon steel maintains very low and very high temperatures, making the pan a highly effective and versatile cooking piece. After cooking, clean with a stiff nylon brush and hot water. Using soap is not recommended, and harsh detergents should never be used. Towel dry immediately and apply a light coating of oil to utensil while it is still warm. Made in USA.

This has been on my wish list for a long time, and it did not disappoint. We have had it for 3 months and grill 3x a week. It is so nice to throw small veggies on the grill without skewing first. No more lost asparagus! We store it right on the grill after use and clean it the same way we do the grates. Hope it lasts a long time.

I love this grilling pan. It's so much better than the grilling pans I've bought in the past. It's extremely well made and durable. Keep it clean and oiled and I think it will last a lifetime.

It tended to warp a bit in one corner while on the grill, otherwise a great item, heavy duty.

I was looking for the perfect grill steel and this is it. I've gone through a few different pans and they would all warp from the heat and never cooked food evenly. I have a few other Lodge products so I figured I'd give this one a shot and it does the trick. Cleaning is easy too, I just use a wire brush and some Dawn and it cleans up nice. Food comes out great every time and it holds up to the heat. Definitely worth the money.

Used for the first time and it worked great! The food tasted fabulous, however it was really hard to clean because you can’t soak it in your sink because of the size. The color looks faded! Not sure if that’s normal but I may return because it looks like I used it for couple months already and I only used it one time! It works great the only problem that I have is the cleaning. Not sure if this is normal where it looks faded and used right away. I gave it a five star because the food it taste fantastic. I made chicken kebabs with veggies. 😋

My son got one of these. Had to get me one. He got his because he had to share a grill with his entire apartment complex, this way he doesn't have to clean the grill before or after. Works great--food doesn't fall in the fire, cooks evenly, no different taste. Don't have to worry about grill sheets that melt or give off chemicals. Easy clean up: let cool, wash with soap and water, rub on oil (use a paper towel with a little oil on it, wipe off any excess.) It does get very hot in the grill, (duh!) So handle with HEAVY duty mitts if you have to touch it.

Wow, this is a great Grill pan! We have used it for burgers, fish, filets, veggies, Italian sausage and peppers and it is virtually non stick. We oil it before we place it on the grill to heat up and we oil it before we put it away, top and bottom. We have many Lodge cast iron products already and decided to try this grill pan after being sorely disappointed by the mega bucks All Clad stainless steel grill pan, which will never be clean again, not to mention unwarped once you use it. Returned it, bought this one and haven't looked back. HIghly recommend!

I love this product. We use it to cook fish and at first we had problems with the fish sticking but once it was seasoned there was no problem.
