It fits perfectly into my soprano sax, but with the plug in place, the sax no longer fits in the case. It might work if I cut the plug down.

The cap itself is fine. It is sturdy and theoretically should do it’s job just fine. However, it is too small in diameter to fit a Yamaha Custom EX soprano. Yamaha buyers beware.
