I have no idea how this is being sold as bell cover 8” in size….as you can see in the picture the cover is about 3.5” in diameter and it doesn’t stretch much beyond that. I bought it for my son’s tenor sax…what I received barely fits the clarinet. Super disappointed.

This is sold as a muffler for a saxophone, and labelled as a bell cover for a saxophone. I immediately saw it would not fit my alto sax and there is no padding or sound proofing to muffle sound. It is a simple decorative bell cover like you might see on a high school or college marching band—except for the fact it is much too small even when stretched to its max. It might fit a clarinet, not sure about a soprano sax. I am not sure whether it would fit a trumpet.

This thing is about 3" across. It is listed as fitting a Tenor Sax. No Way. It will just barely fit my soprano. Worst of all, it doesn't muffle the sound. It is worthless.
