How to Add a device to "Smart Life" App?
1. Open Your Phone's software store, Android's Google Play or Apple APP Store, then search and download “Smart Life” App
2. Press and hold the "WiFi Connect Button" of the equipment, till "Beep" is heard along with LED flash to get into the pairing mode
3. Open "Smart Life" App, click "Add Device", and connect to "Sump Alarm System"
4. Find your 2.4G WiFi network and enter the password to connect, if don't find it in the list, please enter mannually, then you can succesfully add the device.
5. Enter the App, you can receive real-time alert notification and historical alert records.
6. To receive alerts, enable notifications in Smart Life (Me → Settings → App Notification → System Notification → Enable System Notification) and allow push notifications in your phone’s settings.

The ease of deployment of this watchdog device is second to none for a crawlspace. The lack of frequent access can create a situation in which any flooding of the space is not noticed until many thousands of dollars worth of damage has already occurred. With the floatation detection this device uses, early notification of an incident can prevent a costly disaster and the adjustable nature of the float helps to avoid false alerts. By using WiFi as its communication method, installation is quick and efficient.

It does the job, and it worked so I do like to say it does the job. Also, easy to connect to the app. Also, 10 feet is very good enough to use. Alarm on it works well. Very well built.

Following the instructions included in the package you can easily get this running in minutes for a basic setup to monitor for high water level for one location.What's not described is that this appears to be capable of monitoring two nearby locations, L1 and L2.The float itself is labeled for use as a low-level or high-level alarm, but the alarm itself does not appear to work for both - high-level only.

We recently had a storm that was flooding a large part of our neighborhood. While my house is a little higher up, I was routinely going to check the basement - particularly the sump pits (I have three of them). I'm not sure whether it was coincidence or if the sump pump was working overtime with the extra influx of water, but one of the sump pumps failed - just stopped pumping. I got REALLY lucky that I caught it before the entire basement was flooded.What I didn't have was a sump pump alarm like this one. This device is NOT going to prevent any issues from happening... but what it WILL do is to notify (alarm) you when there is something wrong.Setup was a little more than I expected, but nothing beyond my capabilities. I was able to assemble the unit as needed.I did some testing & so far it seems responsive enough. The alarm is loud enough that I'm able to hear it throughout my house. Again - 'what to do' when the alarm goes off is a different question, but at least I know that something needs to be done. Additionally, I was able to add the device, so that I get notifications on my hone if there is an issue. Once again - what do I do if I'm not home & I get notification? Yeah. Beats me. Run home & panic, I guess.Overall, I'm happy with this device & recommend it to others - so that you can avoid unnecessary frustration & cost (and needing to sleep with your head right by the sump pit, so that YOU can detect if there is any problem :(

Installation was super simple with this product. I really appreciated how 'plug n play' this set is. I had this up and running in minutes. After testing I had no problems and even better, I can hear the alarm from upstairs. It's very loud. The LED is good and bright and there are many ways to mount this setup. Very happy with this product. Good value for the price.

This did a great job of giving me the feedback I needed in my cistern. I did couple it with a solar panel which made it perfect for outdoors in a remote area. I did cover the top with a wooden shelf to keep the rain from affecting it.
