I was very excited about this pepper mill, as it seemed to offer the same stainless steel grinding mechanism that can cost $200 in other mills. And the grinder mechanism does seem great - however the plastic top is extremely not great. It snapped in all three connections on the very first twist. Unfortunately, it seems you get what you pay for here.

Order one….looked awesome. First twist, the cheap plastic in the handle broke. They were great about sending me a new one. Towards the end of my first meal with the second one, the same cheap plastic part in the handle broke. It has a fantastic grinding system…but a serious flaw in the handle mechanism. Would NOT recommend.

Broke within 3 seconds of use. The bottom part actually seems pretty nice. Metal and sturdy, but the top part that you turn is the cheapest of crappy plastic. It sheared immediately. This product is a scam.But I happen to be a maker and a woodworker so I see it as a good opportunity to make a proper top that can take the strain of use. If you are a maker this might be a good deal if you make a new top part. But as is this product is a scam.

Bought 2. Both broke. Waste of time. Cheap plastic housing makes what could be a great product a terribly cheap product. Honestly you’re better off buying a handheld coffee grinder

Plastic handle model seemed like a good idea. Make it a little bit more affordable. Unfortunately the handle broke off the spindle on the third twist. Laughably bad quality on this.
