This was a gift for my husband ands he loves it. I don’t care for pepper, now he can enjoy freshly ground course pepper on whatever he wants to put it on. I am glad that it has a cap to cover the top. When it sits on the flat bottom of the mill it can have loose debris or dust settle in the grinder but the cap prevents that from happening. It is built very well, he uses it every meal.

We bought Celtic salt for this grinder and it really doesn’t work very well. The next one I purchase I’ll look closer at reviews and strength

The grind quality is nicely consistent. I like the ease of setting the grind size and the fact it does not change after setting (which is what my previous grinder did). It has a pretty traditional look and function. I find it easy to grip. The build and feel is pretty good as well as the operation, it just lacks that premium polish. Overall useful and usable, I am not concerned with anyone using it.

Bought a different rechargeable brand but they stopped working so bought this to replace that one and it works great. Value for the money is a plus. I also like that it has a lid to keep dust out and can be turned right side up.

Got 2. Did not work on flaky salt like Maldon. But I guess that is why they make their own grinder. Still I will find something else to grind.
