I've owned numerous pepper mills over the years of varying sizes, price and materials. The quality and function of this mill is outstanding and rivals much more expensive units. The shape is a particularly important feature. For some reason the way it's contoured makes it more comfortable to use, even when grinding larger amounts. The grinding mechanism is extremely smooth and adjusting the size of the grind is done in the usual manner. The wide range of grind size goes from powder fine to coarse.I am so pleased with this mill that I would give it as a gift to friends and family that are avid home cooks.

I looked at few different ones and decided on this one due to reviews. It works nice. My husband wanted pepper grinder and wooden so this fit what I was looking for. Easy to use. Grinds easy and pretty fast. Looks nice and size is perfect. Normal size.

I bought these to replace a loud annoying electric grinder. These are quiet and not annoying. They grind smoothly and are easy to use. They seem like they will last awhile. I recommend them.
