I was replacing the condenser fan motor on my HVAC unit. I bought this ahead of time because I knew the fan blade was not going to come off easily. I put this on my fan blade and was able to remove it from the shaft of the condenser motor. Good tool for a do it yourself homeowner or a small hvac company.

What a godsend. I put a new motor on my a/c condenser unit. I can't do that much with an a/c, but changing a capacitor or fan motor is pretty straight forward and will save a bundle. I was unable to get the old fan blade of the the old motor so I could put in on the new motor. I checked every video on the internet. After all of the advice and breakfree, nothing worked. Found this tool which is specifically made to remove the hub/fan off of the motor shafts. Something I should have started with in the first place. It took some effort keeping it stable while turning the screw because I don't have a vice. Slowly but surely, this tool pushed out the shafts. A job no amount off hammering, pliers or strength would move. It's a must have.
