The blue cutting pad from Maxshine is every bit as impressive as their polishing pad. The angled design isn’t just aesthetic—it genuinely helps reach tighter areas with precision. It’s firm enough to tackle heavy swirl marks and oxidation, yet remains smooth and controlled during use. I also like the "hole in the middle" design as it helps align the pad when placing it on your buffer. For the price, it’s an excellent choice, especially for full paint correction work. Maxshine continues to deliver on both performance and thoughtful design.

This is a very nice quality cutting pad. I used it on a 8mm throw DA polisher with a medium cut compound and it left an almost perfect finish and had decent cutting ability. Will be purchasing again.

Ideal for an upcoming project to clean up a bunch of older chrome pieces. It has a nice softness to help make sure I don't get too heavy on the polishing.

This foam pad fits perfectly on my Rigid 5" Orbital sander. I used it to remove a long scratch along the side of my SUV.It is very dense and firm, which makes for a quicker time buffing the car, but of course be careful along edges.After using it I washed it off and let it dry and it still looks brand new. I imagine it is durable enough to last a good long time.I definitely recommend this if you're getting out major scratches.

I picked this up to replace a worn-out Rupes cutting pad that was falling apart and losing effectiveness. So far, this pad has been working really well when paired with Rupes cutting compound—it’s doing a great job removing scratches and restoring the finish.The build feels durable, and it’s holding up nicely after a few uses. Of course, long-term durability remains to be seen, but based on initial results, it seems like a solid value and a reliable alternative.

This is a nice quality cutting pad. I just used it on my boat that had a slight bit of chalking on the brow of the boat. Lifted off the chalking without cutting too deep into the gelcoat. You'd probably want a heavier cutting pad if there was a lot of caulking on your gelcoat.Overall, a decent cutting pad for the price. Recommended.My rating method:1 star - terrible. I wouldn't consider buying it.2 stars - marginal at best. Doesn't meet the minimum requirements or quality to be useful. Buy it at your own risk.3 stars - average. Meets the quality and requirements for a product of this type but is nothing out of the ordinary. If the price is good, I'd probably buy it.4 stars - better than average. Exceeds the typical quality of a product of this type and has a few extra features not usually found on other products of this type. I'd buy it.5 stars - exceptional - far exceeds the quality of products of this type. Hard to beat the quality and features included. Best value for the money. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it.

These pads are very high quality pads has great density and firmness to it for great polishing compounding and paint correction they come in very nice packaging and shipped fast as a professional detailer I highly recommend these pads for anyone looking for good quality pads not those soft junk ones that don’t do anything for us in the detailing world
