The pad is comfortable and fits my Concept2 rowerg perfectly. It has adjustable straps to secure it to the seat and the texture helps it to stay put during exercise. My only issue with it is that it is a bit too thick. I would like it to be about half as thick, to provide a small amount of extra cushion without feeling like you're changing the height of the seat so much. Something that allows you to choose the thickness would be handy.

This seat cushion is a great upgrade for the Concept2 rowing machine, especially for longer sessions. It fits the seat snugly and doesn’t slide around, even during high-intensity intervals. The padding is firm but forgiving—comfortable without being too soft. It seems to be a higher density version of memory foam, and it makes a noticeable difference in reducing pressure on the tailbone and sit bones. If you’ve got a bony backside or just find the stock Concept2 seat uncomfortable, this cushion helps a lot. It stays in place, doesn't interfere with your form or rowing mechanics, and makes the overall experience much more tolerable. A small investment for a big improvement in comfort. Is it worth it? You bet your a--!

Great cushion for rowing machines. I got this because my rowing machine was literally getting to be a pain in my rear because the seat was so uncomfortable and this has made a world of difference. No more hard plastic seat that has no give and hurts my tailbone, this cushion is like a soft hug for my rear end. I like it so much that when it’s not being used on my rower, I use this cushion in my office chair because it’s that nice (and it gives me extra height since I’m 5’2”). Love it.

This memory foam cushion is quite thick and sturdy. I like that it straps securely to the seat of both my recumbent bike and rowing machine. The clips on the straps make it easy to transfer it from one machine to the other effortlessly so I only need to have one cushion. This provides the extra support and cushioning I need on my lower back and backside during workouts. The only downside is that it is quite thick so I did need to adjust my settings to accommodate for the extra height of the seat with the cushion.

Overall the seat pad is very nice, especially for this price point. It fits my Concept 2 rower seat very well. It has dimples underneath the pad which do help if you don’t want to use the two straps. I used the straps to help hold the pad in place. The pad also has perforations throughout the cover to assist in ventilation. There is a zipper on the cover so it can be removed and cleaned. However, there were no cleaning recommendations in the package. As with some foam products out on the market, when opening the pad from the packaging, there was no awful smell. I did not observe any “chemical odor” with mine. So, no need to “air” it out. When cleaning is needed, be careful when removing the foam as to not rip the pad cover. The foam is pretty dense. I am 6 ft/200 lbs and I felt pretty comfortable on the rower using the pad. I did “sink” into the pad quite a bit, but did not feel as I was bottoming out. I still felt I had plenty of cushion with just the right amount of softness and support. This pad is as described as being 3 inches thick. With that being said, it did take a little bit of adjustment of me getting used to it from a ½ inch pad to this one. The foam let me “sink” and conformed to by body quite well. On my first row, which was 30 min, I did not have the tail bone discomfort I normally have. Once I was done rowing, I looked at the pad and the foam rebounded back to original form. If you were not blessed with a plump rear end, then I would definitely recommend this pad.

This seat has been excellent so far. I use my rowing machine almost daily for roughly 30-45 minutes sessions, and this seat has made a world of difference. It is super comfortable and it stays on the seat really well. The top part that you sit on is a mesh kind of material which is really nice because that means it breathes really well through all the sweat. The seat attaches to the rowing machine via the velcro straps and they make the seat very sturdy. I had to tighten them very tight in order to make sure that they didn't move while I was working out. It took maybe 5 minutes to setup with was super easy. Overall excellent product, I can't believe I didnt have one before.

This is the perfect addition to my Sunny rowing machine! I have tailbone issues, so the firm but soft cushion with a perfect cutout for my tailbone is a wonderful change from the hard seat that came installed on the rower. It fit perfectly right out of the package - I just slipped the stretchy straps over the seat and wiggled it, and that was it. It's super sturdy and maintains its shape, even after long or strenuous sessions. It can slip a tiny bit if I'm going super fast, but 99.9% of the time, it's a non-issue. Overall, this is an excellent option for those who need an extra bit of cushioning.

The fit is great on my Model D, and seems excellently made. It is really thick, which makes it so comfortable to sit on. As a few others have mentioned, it is almost too thick (depending on your height/body proportions). So, it could potentially through some off in terms of form/feel during your stroke.

This little cushion both looks and feels the part. How long will it stay spongy? Only time will tell.I have long lasting effects from damage to my ‘tail bone’ and this helps a little bit with the pain.My only gripe is the current price of £16. Even if it lasts, a tenner or less would be a much more realistic price for this useful-but-small piece of foam …and this type of price would see me award an extra star.

"ROWPRO Memory Foam Rowing Machine Seat Cushion - Comfortable Seat Pad for Concept 2 - Ergonomic Concept 2 Rower Seat Cushion for Enhanced Support and Stability." - from seller's headline.I possess a Concept2 rower. Lomg ago. because I am very skinny, I was experiencing discomfort in my butt while rowing, so I bought myself a seat pad from another seller. At the time I was pleased with it, but as it was only about one inch thick it did not totally solve my problem. I was therefore delighted to find this cushion which is three inches thick. Not only will this be more comfortable for my behind, but the extra height may help my stiff back. Concept2 sell their rowers with a choice of two leg lengths. The longer legs are six inches longer. This cushion will take me halfway to that height. This cushion comes with straps, but frankly I never had any problem with my old cushion's shifting position. It is rigid and quite bulky and heavy. I used to walk a mile to my gym. If I wanted to use a cushion on the rower there I would carry my old one in my rucsac, but never this one.The current price of £19.99 may seem a lot to pay for a seat pad, but searching on Amazon I find you can pay a lot more (£64.95!) or buy a seat pad that is much thinner for about this price or above. You must consider however whether the change in height may upset you. You do not get Free Returns.

I realise this is for rowing machines but it is also perfect to take bird watching. It turns any wall or bench into something I can sit on for hours. I have recently bought a telescopic chair with a plastic seat and it's great for that too as it straps to the hard plastic and makes it comfortable. The foam is firm but supportive and it takes all the pain out of sitting on a hard surface. I'm sure it would be great for rowing machines for the same reason. I think that the price is a little high compared to virtually identical seats that aren't for rowing machines so I think there is a gym-tax on this. Nonetheless, it's probably still a good price.

A great fit for my rower, a Bluefin Fitness Blade Air Rowing Machine. The elasticated straps and buckle fasteners make it a doddle to fit and remove.Do be aware there is a bit of a chemical smell after removing the cushion from its packaging. It is therefore advisable to air it out for a while.Being a lot thicker than another rowing machine cushion I have been using, has taken a bit of getting used to. The comfort level is high. It is just sitting higher and adapting to the different feel of sitting on this rowing machine cushion. I am wondering whether I would prefer to have a cushion with a height in between this and my other rowing cushion, yet still providing the same level of support. This could be achieved with a slightly firmer memory foam.I cannot find any noticeable faults with the construction of this product. A well made product as far as I can tell. Obviously at this time I am unable to comment on its longevity. The cost when compiling and submitting my review is £24.99, and it was only £15.99 when ordered approximately two weeks ago. This is quite a jump in price. The dearer price is still a fiver less than the cost of my other rowing cushion. 4.25/5
