An essential tool for doing classic preparations. While I don't use it often, it is nice to have on hand when larding is called for. Seems to be durable and high quality enough for the amount of use it will get.

I had read about "larding", an old technique to make a lean roast more juicy. The cost of these needles kept me from buying one, until the price dropped. It's a little tricky to get the hang of it. You have to kind of twist it back and forth a little bit to get the needle to insert smoothly. And then you need to go slowly when pulling the needle back out so you don't pull the lardons back out. I tried it with a lean center cut pork roast, with strips of bacon fat rolled in sage and garlic powder, which turned out pretty well. Fun to experiment.

Hay que encontrar el tranquillo a lo de mechar y las cantidades que pueden son muy pequeñitas por lo que hay trabajo asegurado pero funciona bien cuando lo pillas.

Calidad mejorable. El material es de una calidad Justina y el mecanismo para meter el relleno no es muy fiable y tiene algo de holgura, pero por el precio no se puede pedir más.
