Few things. Want to say if you need this seller for anything, I wouldn’t hesitate for a second. They are knowledgeable, helpful, and quick to respond. A pleasure to work with. Only had this smith squat, cable combo thingy for a few weeks. I really like it. Adde Adds a lot of variation to what I could do at home before. Also want to say I’m only 5’7”. This machine is perfect for me. Directions are a bit sketchy, but good enough. Took me 3.5-4 hours to assemble. I trust it. It’s stable, and gets me a smith machine and cable machine. You can do a lot with it, has a good sized footprint. So be aware. If you like to work out at home, and think this would work for you, I’d recommend it. Good value for the money. Great customer service, and that’s rare these days.

- Comes in Four Packages so delivery is spotty, one a day it seemed like.- Follow the instructions exactly, the instructions are intentional so pay attention to the actual drawings and how everything is oriented.- weight bar is an Olympic bar which is nice.- every box weights about 100 lbs so get some help when moving the boxes.- carve out some time, will take a full day at least 8 hours.- key is to be organized and don’t get ahead, take it step by step or you’ll waste pieces or have to redo something.- lesson learned with the pillows, do not tighten a single pulley until you have ran the cables where they need to go, then tighten.- the weight bench, plates, standard curl bar and Olympic bar not included (just smith machine Olympic bar is included).- trash… lots…of … trash. Buy a burn barrel or get ready to go to the dump when you’re done.- you’ll see the first pieces have an end cap that looks like the holes should like up but they aren’t supposed to so just keep the cap the way it is .- the end of the cable for the pully can come apart so you don’t “have” to restring the whole thing if you mess up.- the last attachment which hooks at the bottom and receives the Olympic bar where you can use it to pass the weight from side to side is rusted in the inside due to shop paint not getting further down the cylinder.- very well made, high quality parts. I would not do this with any help, you will just loose parts and takes longer. Plug in some tubes and stay focused.- Caution: when you install the chrome square poles they are free standing, don’t let them tip over and hit you when while you’re trying to complete the skeleton of the structure.- I would recommend and would buy again but would probably pay some else to build it again because this was like building a car. But I’m happy with it!!!!

If you’re looking for a home gym set up this is the one for you! Received in a very timely manner. There were damages to the boxes but that was from shipping company, thankfully there was extra packaging on the inside so no damage to parts.Took me about 4 hours to put together myself. All parts are labeled and easy to follow directions. We have been using for about 2 weeks now and have been super impressed. It is a tad bit wobbly but nothing unexpected or worrisome. This is a home set so you are bound to have this. The only complaint I really have is writhing the first 2 times using pulley system one of the cable covers got pinched/ripped. It still functions just fine but I think the cable and plastic pulley just got caught up. I planned on upgrading to the stainless steel pulleys anyway so nothing to upsetting.

Just put out Smith Machine together today and I have to say the quality of it is great. It took about 4 1/2 - 5ish hours to put together by myself. The instructions were very easy to follow. All of the parts are labeled to make finding the right part / nut / bolt, etc. very easy. (the part number is on the bag, so do not take the plastic / bag off any of the parts. I realized this after removing the bags / plastic on a few parts). My suggestion is to remove all of the parts / nuts / bolts, etc. from the packing boxes and lay them out in alphabetical order. It makes finding what you need a little easier. I left all of the hardware (nuts, bolts, etc.) in the shrink wrapped packages so they would not get lost. "Tools" are included (I'm using the term "tool" VERY loosely), but if you have your own wrenches / Allen wrenches / rachet set, I would HIGHLY recommend using that versus what is supplied. While the machine could be assembled with the included tools, it would be very difficult.Assembly was for the most part very easy for one person to do. It is not going to be a quick one hour project and done. I did it by myself, taking my time in about 4 1/2 - 5 hours (not counting the unboxing / laying everything out). A couple of hints / suggestions on assembly: 1) DO NOT tighten anything all the way. Leave the parts a little loose to allow some "play" when fitting things together. 2) I would not put the pully wheels in until after the cable is installed. I had to loosen or remove a couple of the wheels to get the cable fed through. 3) After you get the main base put together, make sure you have placed in the location you want it to be after assembly. It is HEAVY. It can be moved, but will require a couple of people to do it.Overall very pleased with the quality. Boxes were not damaged. Parts were in good condition (only had one part that a bracket was just every so slightly bent and needed bent back in order to fit one of the upright pieces, so no big deal). Instructions were easy enough to follow (only complaint would be to maybe have a little larger print for part numbers and pictures for a little easier viewing).Looking forward to being able to work out at home versus spending the money on a gym membership. I will update after the machine has been used for a little while, but based on the first impressions, I would highly recommend this machine for a home gym setting.
