This is my “go to” slip lead. They don’t burn your hand or fingers. Best way to keep a dog secure. I use these at a rescue and Animal Control that I volunteer when taking dogs out of the kennels.

So far this is one of the best slip leashes I’ve ever purchased. We needed something strong to keep our 45 pound crazy corgi secure when walking, especially when he sees/lunges at buses, motorcycles, skateboarders, etc during our walk. It’s well made and the stitching is secure which is important to keep our Corgi safe! Would highly recommend!UPDATE AS OF 11-13-24Unfortunately after a few weeks, the leash started to unravel. My dog is a puller, so I don’t think this leash could handle him. I stopped using it because I’m afraid it will break. I will try to get a replacement to give it another chance. If you have a calmer dog, this leash might work.

I ordered this leash for my 55 lb dog to help with loose leash training. This leash is worth every penny! The quality is amazing! The thickness of this leash makes it much more comfortable in your hand and more durable. While it is woven like rope, it won’t stretch like rope. In my picture you may be able to see some fraying which was accomplished by my 30 lb puppy. She actually chewed through a different lighter weight leash I ordered, but didn’t make it through this one!This leash also seems to be comfortable for my dog, too. Because it is a slip leash, the size adjusts for her as she moves. It has a bracket you can use to set a minimum size to prevent choking. When I ordered this I thought it would be too thick and heavy for my 30 lb puppy, which is why I ordered her a different brand. But, I will order this one for her next time. The quality is amazing. It has all leather trim at the base of the handle and a leather piece to prevent the slip from opening up too much keeping it on your pups neck. Excellent product!

I wanted a comfortable, durable, thicker leash. This one is perfect for my needs. I need to wrap the leash around my puppy’s nose also, like another reviewer, because she is a STRONG lab/pit mix. Although I have leashed trained her the best I know how when she was tiny, a quick movement from anything like a squirrel or another dog running by or even a butterfly will distract her and she’ll pull. I’ve injured my wrist in the past and my upper arm muscle burns after a walk with her from continuous jerks. Wrapping the nose has changed our walks so we both enjoy them and can do them more often. I got the shortest length and even with wrapping around the nose, I t’s perfect because I like her right beside me. I do a thumb lock on the end of the leash, not wrapping it around my wrist. The next size up would be better if you prefer to wrap around your wrist.

My dog is large and strong and the best escape artist since HoudiniOnce he tires himself out, playing “catch me if you can” I can slip this around his neck to hold him until I get his harness on him.Once the leash is on, he knows the game is over for nowThe leash also gives me good control even though he weighs in at 111 pounds

I love this leash! It is by far the most appealing looking. I like the snake look of the craftsmanship. It feels just like a snake. The whole leash and handle is soft and smooth and i know will feel comfortable around my dogs neck with no pinching or digging in. There are two leather connectors that smell like real leather and i love the smell of leather too. D link is metal so i know it will not break. And this slip knot leash has something that most do not. It has a metal ring to stop the leash from acting like a choke chain and getting too tight and pinching the dogs neck. I never had one like this one before because all the ones i've had always got tight and would stop when it reached the size of your dogs neck as it tightens giving a choking effect. This one gives you the option to adjust it to the size of your dogs neck firmly against the neck and it will not get any tighter than that unless you slide the D ring to make it tighter. I just think its awesome! Would get destroyed if you have a pup that chews on leashes. Thank you!

Very nice and strong but it’s short and I don’t recommend it to double coat Dog’s because the lock of the leash is slipping all the time , I recommend thinner leash .

The little leather bit to lock the size in place slides a little more than I’d like. Other than that it’s a good slip lead.

I was more than impressed that the leash was packaged nicely in a plastic box. The the rope is more like a strong soft fabric that is easy on my hands and on my puppy's throat. Please be sure to put it on properly. The buckle part should prevent the the leash from tightening and there is a piece of leather that prevents the collar part from loosening. As with other slip collar leashes it should loosen and tighten smoothly like a regular choker chain. I recommend these far more than any chain choker. It's just as effective but does not have gaps that can snag a longer coated dog.
