Monstrum 0 MOA vs 20 MOA Mounts

Which MOA mount should you choose?

The 0 MOA mount is completely level and is suitable for zeroing your scope at short to mid range distances.

The 20 MOA mount is angled upward at 20 MOA. The angled plane gives you a higher range of elevation adjustment when zeroing your scope. It is suitable for zeroing your scope at long distances.

This rail fit my 700 ADL perfectly. It’s beveled on one end and flat on the other and it comes with the correct size #6 screws, but also with #8’s if needed.

Fits great but one of the screw holes in a rem 700 is shorter the screws in this set so not account for that

Moved up from 1990's era 1 inch glass to 30MM Vtex on a 700 action. Torqued to standards, still holding rock steady. A very good bargain.Highly recommended.

Bought it because it seemed pretty unreasonable to pay the asking price for the name brand version. Turned out to be more expensive in the end. The screws are too long (and complete trash) and therefore protrude into the action but the real kicker is the very front screw. Because it is the only one of the four with a complete stop, i had to file down the too long screw to even fit (first problem). I did that but then, the metal is too soft (second problem) and the head twisted off before reaching appropriate torque spec. Now I have to pay a gunsmith to remove the broken stud while having the gun out of commission right before an early season hunt.Better off just ponying up for the name brand. Even with the absurd price of the name brand, it is still cheaper than the hours of work + cost of the gunsmith to repair what could have been prevented with properly spec'd components.
