I have amini shop vac and I couldn't get the hose in. I tried all of the different attachments. Seems quality but just not right for my shop vac of course.

I have the 5 gallon shop-vac, which could probably use a larger diameter hose, but currently has a reducing adapter installed right at the inlet. My existing hose was damaged near the nozzle end, so that's why I ordered this kit. I wasn't planning on reusing any of my old hose, but once I saw everything that was included in this kit, I reused part of my old hose and now have a much longer hose. First, I cut the bad (nozzle) end off my existing hose. Then I made a straight connector out of one of the included adapters by cutting part of one end off. This allowed me to connect the two hoses together without air leaks and with minimal airflow loss.

I don't know why I don't measure these things more carefully before ordering. I guess when I read it was "Shop Vac" I assumed it would probably fit with any Shop Vac. But even with several adapting attachments, it's all way too small for my Shop Vac. Also, it's my fault, but I didn't pay attention to the length of the hose - this one is 4ft...I think my old one was at least 6 feet.Other than my own mistake of not measuring, this hose should be fine for smaller Shop Vacs.

Exact replacement 4' hose for mod. L250 2.5 gal. shop-vac. Excellent value and genuine shop-vac parts. For me the tool holder on the end of the hose just gets in your way, so i removed it. All's good now.J.R. , ASE Master Automobile Technician

I have an old blue colored mini shop vac that has a bracket to hang on the wall. It’s about a 1 ½ to 2-gallon capacity. All the markings are worn off. I have had it close to 20 years and don't remember where I got it. The hose finally broke at the attachment end about 3 years ago and I could no longer use the accessories.I ordered this hose replacement and it fit perfectly. Nice small vacuum to use on the vehicle or take down to the boat. Since both have 110 outlets in them it is a lot easier than hauling out my 20-gallon shop vac.I ordered it because the end of the attachment hose that attaches to the canister looked the same as the current hose on the vac. It ended up being a lucky but good guess on my part. I am thrilled it worked because I have never been able to find a replacement prior to this based on the age of the vac.The hose construction is a durable but flexible material. If has the same feel as the old hose. It should last me for another 10 years or so.I am very pleased this worked and recommend it.
