I was sceptical BUT it is Fantastic on Smooth surfaces like good asphalt or concrete. The blade is just flexible enough to hug the surface imperfections. Do not suggest use on wooden decks or very porous surfaces.

I use this to break up ice on the driveway and front walk. It's not the most heavy duty tool, but it gets the job done. being made from four separate segments, the pole is rigid enough when assembled. The blade itself is on the thin side, but at this price point, it is appropriate. For the average homeowner who doesn't face an entire winter of snow and Ice, it should be a good choice.

Used this flat shovel to scrap up moss off my sidewalks and stairs did a fabulous job!! Better than using chemicals!!

We used a squarepoint shovel to scrape and break off ice from a stairway at the condo. This tool makes that job much easier due to the shape of the blade and the length of the handle. I love the way it breaks down for storage during the late spring/summer/early fall months. The constructions is solid and you can get some good force on the blade.My photos were taken when the product was new; it's no longer in that pristine condition but it's still in very good shape and should last quite a while.
