I'm loving this shovel! The wife and I do a little fossil hunting and this shovel is perfect for sifting the bottom scrabble we dig up out of the creek beds, even though it's nice that you could break this down and pack it in a carry bag we find having to keep reassembling it kind of a pain so we just leave it together considering its lightweight.

This is the perfect multi purpose shovel great for anything from keeping in car for emergency snow issue to taking with you camping to dig out to “go zone” if you will lol. I appreciate how light weight and easy to set up/ breakdown and my man loves how deceptively strong the material is given the lightness. definitely well worth the money and a MUCH BETTER BUY vs the cheaper versions of this ITS WORTH PAYING THE EXTRA MONEY BC YOU HAVE MORE OPTIONS IN LENGTH!!!!! 11/10 looking forward to not breaking my spine next camping trip ;)

Easy to assemble its just a couple pieces that lock together. I did have one piece that didn't look like it wanted to be pushed in and I ended up chipping some paint. Aside from that this is pretty lightweight and easy to work with over long periods of time. I'm mostly using this in a small garden and it seems to fit my needs.

I’m quite happy to have this sieve shovel. This will make my life so much easier and save my back. No more bending and straining. This did not arrive with a users manual or instructions, but assembly was easy and straightforward. The sieve shovel arrives in several pieces that fit easily together to form a full length shovel. Each section secures into the next with good quality spring clips, until all parts are connected. The connections are quite secure which I’m happy about. You can adjust the length which is another plus. You can shorten or lengthen it by adding or removing sections. In addition, I like that you can disassemble this and store all of the pieces in the sturdy storage bag that’s included. It takes up very little space which is great. The sieve shovel is made of coated aluminum and so it’s sturdy but not heavy and cumbersome. That’s perfect for me.I haven’t used this long enough to comment on long term durability, but will post any updates with prolonged use. So far I’m very pleased with its performance. The fact that it’s coated aluminum should also help inhibit corrosion with exposure to the elements and moisture over time. The coating on the metal also helps during the cleaning process. It aides in the removal and release of stuck on dirt and debris. The sieve shovel is a tad pricey, but it’s priced comparably to other sieve shovels I’ve seen. This one is collapsible and easy to handle which makes it a bit more special, and worth the investment in my opinion. I’m extremely pleased and would recommend this. Love it!

It may seem strange to some to be so excited over a pooper scooper. However, I am estatic! This is the item I have been looking for since I started raising chickens.I use sand in both my coop and run. I have purchased things, and tried to make/revise things to scoop poop in the run that lets sand through but scoops up chicken poop. Everything up to now has had such large openings that the poop just fell through with the sand, especially from the younger girls. The only thing that worked was a kitty litter scoop. That isn't a big problem since the run isn't overly huge, especially if i spot clean a couple of times a day, but the bending over all the time gets old. As soon as I took this out of the box and put it together, I had to run try it. This is the scoop I have been needing but could not find for sand. The holes are small enough that it holds the poop, but sand falls through, just like with a kitty litter scoop. But given it is much larger, and has an angled edge at the end, the sand scoops easily and I can do larger areas with ease. The scoop is sturdy and solid, but light enough it will be easy to use. The snap together shaft is long enough to keep me from bending over, but not so long (think full length shovel) to make it cumbersome. The handle at the end makes it ergonomic and comfortable to scoop. If you have a chicken run or coop that uses sand, this is a must have item. Your life will become much easier!
