I ordered this set for Mother’s Day, and my mother loved it and was thrilled. However, upon closer inspection, I noticed that two of the bowls had large cracks. The third bowl wasn’t cracked but had rough edges and imperfections. I exchanged them for a new set, but the largest bowl in the replacement set still had a distinct crack. Ultimately, I returned both sets. In the future, I would consider looking on a handmade site before ordering something like this from Amazon again, as it was clear that there was no craftsmanship involved in these products.

This is even nicer than the ad picture makes it look. It works really well for its purpose and is nice to have when working with a yarn ball that otherwise keeps falling on the ground or gets in the way. Definitely recommend for any project involving yarn.

Finish on this bowl was very nice. Looks just as good as the photos in the ad.Looks pretty and keeps that yarn ball spinning like it should.

I love this bowl it is so helpful to keep the ball of yarn from rolling around. I wish they had a bigger one for the larger yarn cakes.

Overall, this is a nicely made bowl for my yarn. It doesn't have the roughness that some other bowls have (as per other product reviews). I am thinking it will keep my yarn cleaner than sitting in my lap.

The construction of the bowl is very good, it's very smooth on the inside and outside. It looks pretty good in the table while I'm crocheting. The inner loop might need a little bit of sanding, especially for thin yarn, but the rest of the bowl is quite good. I will be looking to buy another one.

The bowl is beautiful and appears to be well made. The inside of the bowl is smooth and has a finish, so the yarn doesn’t fray. I ordered the large bowl, which works well with a small, round skein of yarn - it won’t work with a large skein. I wish it was larger.

Vraiment beau, assez lourd et assez gros pour tenir même les grosses de laine. J’avais fait une première commande non reçu et remboursé par amazon. J’ai recommandé à la même place par erreur et je l’ai reçu bien emballé et même plus tôt que la date prévu, alors je suis très satisfaite. I'm not a skilled crocheter but I do enjoy making the occasional hat. I invested in this bowl because I love wooden products and I also needed to stop my ball of yarn from rolling around everywhere as I have a cat who loves string. This was perfect for me.Crafted with a keen understanding of a Crocheter's needs, this yarn storage bowl combines functionality with an elegant design. The mixed premium wood used in its construction not only adds a touch of sophistication but also serves a practical purpose by preventing static and friction that can interfere with the yarn's natural flow. The size of the bowl is generous enough to accommodate both yarn balls and skeins, providing versatility for various knitting projects.Before I used the bowl I needed to sand down the area where the swirl is (where the string comes through) because it was a bit rough and I didn't want my yarn to stick to the wood. After that initial sanding though, everything worked great. It is a really nice bowl just to have out on a table. The beautiful wood grain and smooth finish make it an attractive display piece, reflecting the care put into its craftsmanship. Durability is another noteworthy aspect of this storage bowl. It has withstood regular use without showing any signs of wear, attesting to the quality materials and construction.

I Love this bowl. The colors and patterns in the wood are beautiful. More importantly, it works great. When it arrived, I felt all around the wood to see if everything was smooth, so the yarn would not get caught or snag. The only place that was very slightly rough was the cutout in the wood where the yarn pulls through. I took a standard emory board/nail file and ran it carefully along the tiny patch of roughness. This smoothed it out and the yarn slides easily through and spins easily inside the bowl when I need more. This is a must have for anyone who works with yarn.
