This is a nice sturdy bowl but it is SMALL it can't even hold my smallest yarn cakes made from one skein of thin yarn. It would work if you tend to work with smaller ammounts of yarn or thinner yarn but for the yarna nd teh project I do it is a no.

I love how smooth it is. My yarn doesn't get caught or snag on any of the edges. It is the perfect size for a normal ball of yarn to contain and work on projects with.

My hubby got me as a gift as a yarn bowl has been on my wishlist for a while, but I am disappointed with this one. It is too light weight, so if there is any resistance in the yarn, it goes flying. The inside of the swirl opening is not sanded smooth and damages the yarn as it is used. For the price I would expect a better quality product.

Great size, weight, and price! However, the little curvy piece that holds your yarn isn't sanded so my yarn got stuck a ton and that was annoying. I sanded it with a sheet myself and it was no biggie to get it into workable shape!

You can’t fit a typical ball of yarn in it, and the quality is like particle board. Two crochet hooks are included, but they’re like cheap takeout chopsticks.
