This has the right diameter for a cache faucet but does not fit a cache faucet at all. My faucet is brand new and it has the same aerator in it that my older ones do. The threads on this adapter are entirely too narrow. No question at all that this does not fit. Avoid, avoid, avoid This was a waste of time money and shipping.
