This was not a good purchase for me. The mic was great and brand new. The pop filter is a waste you literally can’t use it (which is not a big deal) but it’s the shock mount. The way that the mic sits in it is WEIRD AF. An authentic Neumann shock mount is almost 200$ so it doesn’t make sense to buy this financially because you will want the Neumann shockmount. You’ll end up spending another $200. For all that you can get a better Neumann that comes with the original shock mount for the same price range especially if you catch guitar center when they have a sale. This was a decent purchase but they might as well sell this Mic by it self instead of with these generic parts. It’s really just to get you to buy it. YOU WILL WANT TO GET THE REAL NEUMANN SHOCK MOUNT AND END UP SPENDING MORE MONEY. Trust me!

The mount they included with this package does not fit the mic. They could have included a simple SG 2 that fits instead of this monstrosity that’s way too big, and they won’t own up and fix it. So, I’m stuck with something useless and have to shell out another $159 on a mount when I could have bundled it elsewhere for the same price. Avoid this seller.

Before i used to have a cheap 50$ USB mic but once i upgraded to this one. OMG the sound quality is just perfect! when i record my voice overs in my voice booth, i don't need to edit the sound cause there's no background noise only my voice. Love this microphone very much and i highly recommend if you have an old USB mic, throw it away and upgrade to this baby.

This mic exceeded my expectations. Granted, not every mic works perfectly with every voice or every use case, but for me it's fantastic. I've used it to record mainly vocals, but it's also handled some VoiceOver and guitar recording. I'm not one to say you need to pay a lot of money for nice mics, but what you're paying for here is both quality control, as well as peace of mind. Premium build quality and sound.

The pop filter provided does not fit on the microphone when you put it in the shock mount... You'd think for such a price they would consider this. So I had to get another pop filter for use separately.The microphone itself is the best I've ever used, mainly for vocals and acoustic instruments. I haven't tried micing up an amp yet to see how it does.The air mode really does boost the mids, and very little sound engineering work required to remove noise as it practically picks up none.
