I ordered this 24-port PoE switch twice — both times it arrived damaged. I sent my technician to the client site, only to discover the first unit was faulty. I reordered immediately, hoping it was a one-off issue. The second unit had the same problem. That’s two on-site dispatches, both canceled due to defective equipment. I’ve lost far more in labor and client trust than the switch is worth. Unacceptable quality control. Avoid if you’re running a professional operation.

From unboxing, powering, and swapping the patch cables from failing switch into the new switch and I was done in less than 15 minutes. I appreciate the small footprint for this 27-port switch. It is only slightly larger than the 18-port switch that it replaced. The metal case is sturdy and there is no noise in operation. One feature that puts it above other switches in this class is the location of the LEDs for ports and power. They are located on the left front facing side where they are easily seen rather than below the ports, which are difficult to see unless switch is at eye level or installed upside down. One improvement would be to have the LED color indicate the port speed (100 vs 1000). Only had the switch a short time so I cannot comment on longevity. Time will tell, but so far I'm very pleased for this functionality at such a great price.

Used to connect Cisco ME APs and various wired A/V devices, bought for the PoE capacity and port density. So far no issues, been in production for about two months; install was pretty smooth. A good choice for what it is, helps to understand what you’re doing when installing to get the most of it. I used the included brackets to wall mount behind my stereo. Just don’t try to pronounce the name in front of the wrong people.

Nice little switch. Works perfectly in my set up getting 940 up and down on IQ Fiber with multiple POE cameras, tvs, computers, etc. Great value so far.

Purchased this in a hurry to replace a failed Ubiquiti PoE switch. Swapped all the PoE cables, swapped the non-PoEs, everything came up fine. Been running fine ever since.

Bought this because I didn’t want to spend the extra money on unifi switch for a 100mb Poe connection to my cameras. This is behind a udm pro. Plugged a total of 6 cameras into this with more to come in the future and it worked exactly as I expected it to. No extra noise or unnecessary setup. Just plug and play. As of writing this I would recommend this to the next person in the same use case.

Been looking for a Gigabit PoE switch for some time now. I wanted to clean up and eliminate as many possible power cords as possible. It did just that for me.My Cisco 2702I's came up under full power. (See Screenshot). The 2702 AP is an 802.3at Access Point but is backwards comatible with 802.3af compatible power sources. This switch provides 802.3at and is backwards compatible with 802.3af equipment. Obviously it will use 802.3at by default.I also bought a PoE splitter for my router which brings the voltage down to 12V and it provides enough power for that aswell. That also was a bonus as I can power cycle everything by using the switch.802.3af and 802.3at are the same thing. 802.3af is just older and operates around 15watts max where as 802.3at can do 30watts. They share the same polarity. Difference is the amount of available power.Another important thing to note is these switches will only output power when a compatible device is connected to it. So plugging a laptop or other non PoE device into a PoE port will not do anything. This is standard with most PoE switches.
