Brake Pad Type Comparison
Organic
Organic Pads are composed of various fibers mixed with binding resins to hold them together. Some common materials used in organic brake pads include glass, fiber, rubber, carbon and Kevlar.
Semi Metallic
Semi Metallic Pads are the most versatile style available, with the slight compromise being more noise and dust. They are also longer lasting and more durable, and their metallic composition can help draw heat away from the rotor and aid in more efficient brake cooling.
Ceramic
Ceramic Pads are composed of a dense ceramic material with embedded copper fibers. In use since the 1980s, ceramic pads were developed as an alternative replacement for organic and semi-metallic brake pads. Ceramic pads are generally easier on rotors than semi-metallic pads.

The problem is the front brake pads are completely different than the rear. So now I am stuck with two sets of extras and no pad for the fron since they came as a pack of 4.

Good fitment for 2005 Arctic Cat 400 4X4. Perfect fit, brake lining is the appropriate thickness. I cleaned and scuffed up the existing Rotors, Installed these pads, and am back in business.NOTE: My bike has two rotors up front and one rotor in the back, so I ordered the 3-wheel brake kit. But, my bike has a 4th set of pads dedicated to the foot brake ( not the same part # as these pads, needs to be spec'ed out separately) . Not included in this purchase.

HAVING recently discovered a broken brake pad on my Artic Cat TRV 500 (which caused the front wheel to lock up) I was desperately trying to locate replacements, as my family was arriving at our WY home in the mountains and I needed to have a functional 4-wheeler. The (former) Arctic Cat (now Polaris) dealer had a set from LONGGG ago which he was very willing to sell me for $50! Having checked out the online options I knew of much better deals but, as they say at the dealer parts counter, "Yeah, but I've got them RIGHT here!" Having successfully learned how to do brake pad installation, I decided to order this set of 4 pair for -- that's right! -- $40. Arrived 2 days later, and off I went to replace the other three brakes (discovering another badly damaged brake/caliper system.) So what else can I say? They seem to work properly but I can only give the final word when I discover how long they last.

I couldn't find brake pads anywhere that fit my 2009 Cub Cadet Volunteer Utility vehicle. Took a gable on these as they looked correct.Perfect fit. Exact match to the old worn out ones I removed.
