Very strong magnetic mount. This didn't end up being exactly what we wanted (we've gone towards an adjustable arm instead), but if you just need something to grab hold with a magnet, this'll work great.

It’s just stupidly large. It’s not normal MagSafe size so it won’t fit in the car or anything.

Chances are that you are already familiar with using a magsafe with your phone. This is the same thing, only the magnet is much bigger and is capable of mounting larger and heavier tablets instead. Unfortunately, because the magsafe is much larger and it includes only 1 bracket, you will need to be very judicious as to where you ultimately choose to place the mount and it makes me wish that there were additional brackets available to place at other locations (kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, etc). However, if you have a magnetically friendly space/area such as a refrigerator, you will not need to use a bracket and the magsafe on the tablet will stick to the refrigerator as-is. Overall, a much needed accessory but there need to be more brackets for additional mounting needs.

I got this set of magnetic plates for use with my tablet and being able to have it be attached to a variety of surfaces. I was pleasantly surprised at the strength of the magnetic force between the magnet and the plate.As usual, my only concern is how long or well will the adhesiveness of the plate stay attached to a clean surface before falling off…. I wish additional plates were included in this kit not only for maybe using it on additional surfaces, but for backup because with continual use of taking the tablet on and off will inevitably loosen the adhesive backing.Overall, this magnetic ring kit is worth a look as the strength oft he magnets is impressive. Just make sure to align the two pieces (L/R) and wipe clean any surface before using the adhesive backing to prolong the life of that adhesive bond.

Unfortunately I wasn’t paying enough attention when shopping for this item, since it cannot do quite what I need. The mount itself is great quality, has no sharp edges, uses strong magnets and has clear instructions. It has enough gripping power to hold a heavier device. This is definitely a well made item, and if I were mounting my tablet more frequently I wouldn’t hesitate. I’m sure I will figure out some other purpose for it.The reason I’m not using it as planned? I was hoping that the thinner magnetic ring which attaches to the tablet could be removed and replaced repeatedly, but the manufacturer explicitly warns against it. I only intend to have my tablet wall mounted approx 20% of the time. I use one of Apple’s Magic Keyboards with my iPad Pro, so I can’t have anything permanently affixed to the back which would prevent using my keyboard case the other 80% of my day. I was hoping to avoid the bulkier (read: ugly) non-adhesive mounts but maybe I’ll have to bite the proverbial bullet.

I have a small, plastic temperature monitoring station with 3 external probes that I use to keep track of the temps in my freezer and refrigerator and outside. I wanted to mount it on the door of my fridge. It has buttons on top and on the side so a clamp mount wouldn't work. I tried various adhesive and magnetic methods but they always failed. So, I decided to try this Nillikin mount.Basically, using a strong adhesive ring, I can stick a magsafe ring on to the back of the monitor. If I want to put that on a magnetic surface, I'm done. Otherwise, I can mount a matching magnetic ring with another strong adhesive ring. This second step was unnecessary in my case.It works well. The magnetic ring is very strong and the glue to stick it on is very strong. I've put the monitor on the door of my refrigerator and opening and closing the door is not a problem. The monitor stays put.

This is my 3rd set of magnets because Ii have installed them in multiple places around my house. They are easy to install and work like a charm, as they are very strong. Each set comes with two thin, plastic sheets you affix to your tablet before installing the magnet. Be sure to use this! I did not with my first set and you cannot remove the magnet from your table if you skip this step. Other than that, I have one on my mirror, one on my fridge, and one on a tablet tripod so I can now just pop it on & off quickly without messing with the tablet holder. Highly recommend.
