Was poorly made ended up caving in on itself from using the tongs to pull from furnace.....only was able to use it for 3 meetings before it became worthless....lost a good amount of copper from it ..

Fell apart inside the forge on the very first use. Happened when I tried to pull it, full of molten copper, out the forge. Waste of money, time, copper, and forge, all in one shot.

Works perfectly so far, I've used it about just 3 times now to melt aluminum cans in my home made mini foundry. It gets glowing hot and hasn't cracked or broken yet.

I heat cycled this little guy and so far it's hanging in there. Even expensive crucibles need to be seasoned this way before use. After cooling and inspection there was no damage. Next step will be making bronze!

Used this for a small backyard foundry and it worked great with a gas and coal. I'm not sure how low it would last with just coal but worked fine a few times until I got the gas foundry working. Time will tell if its going to last. Very pleased so far!
