IR MINI SIGNAL LIGHT
The NITECORE NU06 MI is an IR Mini Signal Light, able to be used for command and control in military operations to distinguish between friendly and hostile forces with night vision goggles. It is available for 9 modes with 4 light sources including Constant-on Modes and Flashing Modes of IR, blue, green and red, as well as Red/Blue Police Warning Flashing. The flashing colors are appropriate to indicate different groups or identify specific positions of team members quickly.

Mode Memory
When reactivated, the light will automatically access the previous memorized mode.
Power Indicator
When the light is off, short press the Power Button:
Flashing three times indicates that the power is above 50%;
Flashing twice indicates that the power is below 50%;
Flashing once indicates that the power is below 10%.

This is a nifty little beacon. I attached this to the shoulder of my vest. Great value if all you need is a IR beacon. (Yes it has some colored lights, too)

Bought this really because I do some hiking and alot of early morning walking in the city. Not interested in getting run over. I love the compactness; comes with a sturdy ruckstrap or pals adapter. Haven't tried with night vision yet - though I gave nitecore credit in the review. Switch is straight forward and unlikely to accidentally power up. Lots of lighting options.

For the most part this little light is awesome, bright enough for others to see from shouting distance in both visible and IR modes. The vibration for the IR mode indicator is smart, and the qd aspect of it works well for coming out of the mount if you want to double check the status. The issue I had was the velcro patch fell off of the included helmet mount when it was in my bag. I'll be able to fix it with some sort of glue, but I shouldn't have to
