The North Gym 3D shaped plates
Our plates are 3D shaped to fit perfectly to the athletes body. The curves allows a higher fit of the weights on your upper body and therefore eases the load across your shoulders and doesn’t just pull down straight. The plate shape together with the cut of our North Gym vest allows for many movements for you as an athlete without unnecessary shifting of the vest. The plates are sold as a pair, so that one is inserted into the vest at the front and one at the back.
Durable
All North Gym 3D weight plates are made of sturdy laser cut steel, curved for a better fit and processed with a durable powder coating.
Versatile
The plates have been designed for the North Gym 3D weight vest and fit perfectly into the compartments provided, but they’re also compatible with a wide range of other tactical training / weighted vests on the market (be sure to check the measurements below before purchasing).
Closer fit, better workouts
The NG plates have an ergonomic fit in three dimensions and are therefore more comfortable on the upper body. They are bevelled at the upper corners, giving the arms and shoulders enough freedom of movement.
The curved shape of the plates allows to wear the vest higher and closer. The result of that is less movement of the vest while working out and a closer, more comfortable and secure fit. This allows a wider range of uses compared to flat plates.

体のラインによくフィットし、息苦しくなりにくい5.11のトレーニングプレートを使用していましたがそちらは全て平面のため運動時に圧迫感を感じましたが、これは圧迫感が軽減され快適でした。 少々値段が高く、購入に際して迷いましたが、買って良かったと思います。

These have a better contour than actual esapi plates, especially for a muscular barrel chested guy. Only wish they a 1/4 inch smaller in width, can be tight fit side to side in certain carriers, and that they came in even heavier weights.

重さも梱包も作りもかなりいい加減です。2枚1組ですが、梱包が雑なので箱の中で擦れたり、ぶつかったりで輸送時に角のペンキやロゴのステッカーが剥がれた状態です。「パウダー焼結塗装」と謳ってますが、そんないい塗装ではありません。使っている内にサビが出てペンキが浮いて剥がれてきます。体にフィットするように3D形成されてますが、フィットしません。角が体に刺さります。こんなんで3万近くならホームセンターで鉄板買ってペンキ塗った方が早いです。お金、返して欲しいです。

They’re weight plates and do what they are supposed to do. The curvature fits pretty well and this size is fairly thin. I plan on buying additional plate sizes from this brand since it’s one of the few that uses a side plate entry on the carrier which I really like.

They are ergonomic and fit my large frame well, they came and weighed almost exactly as advertised. They are thinner than sapi plates and work really well for walking or joking. BEST OF ALL THE ARE CHEAPER THAN MANY OTHER BRANDS.

I had heavy flat plates in my workout vest initially - which led to the plates awkwardly sticking out at the corners. After almost purchasing the 5.11 heavy plates (which they apparently don't make anymore), I purchased these based upon their price. The 'curve' of these plates are simply 'bends' in the steel plates on multiple axes. So they are 'shaped' - bot not truly 'contoured'.The good news is that they are significantly better than the flat plates. The bad news is that they aren't truly rounded and the metal is not thickly coated so the corners feel 'edgy'. Those edges may become a wear-problem in time if allowed to shift around in your plate carrier.The company should coat these with a thicker substance - even better if they ground the edges round.Overall, this is a recommend based upon value for the price. Depending on your desired weight and intended personal-use, real Spartan AR500 (level 3) steel plates that are triple curved and heavily coated run about $80 a piece... just as a competitive option.

This thing is heavy! It's kind of uncomfortable. I have to squat all the time when wearing it because I can't bend over. It's makes my legs and ankles sore. Want to do a pull up? Bad news, now it's harder because literally all this does is make you heavier...
