My first attempt was perfect but was ruined by a chemical reaction to the clear coat.. So ordered another can to try and fix the disaster. It turned out pretty nice. The paint is a little bit lighter then the original (might be because my outboard is a 1999). I would definitely purchase this again. Also I didn't use clear coat the second time.. Didn't want to go though that hell a second time.

Repainted our boat motor cowling and this matched perfectly. Best thing to do is remove decals, light sand cowling, and paint on a hot day ( 70 degrees). Then put new decals on so it looks like a professional job.

My motor cover paint had peeled off from sun. I prepped and painted, and put clear coat on and looks brand new. I tried to match the paint at part stores and failed miserably. This is the real thing.

This is some really really good rattle can paint. It matches the factory paint perfectly. I painted a Johnson 50 hp from 1999. It looks like brand new. There is also a lot more paint in these cans compared to your run of the mill spray paint.
