Our family loves this set! We have had it for 10 years and they still look as good as the first day! They hold up well in the dishwasher and are great for every day meals. No rust after all these years! They are the perfect size and weight.

This is my 3rd set of Oneida flatware My daughter is using our first set which was purchased 36 years ago. We are using my moms that is 30 years old. Both sets are still in fabulous condition. I purchased the Oneida Soar set assuming the same great quality but have been terribly disappointed. After a month of use (following Oneidas washing instructions) rust was building up in the grove on the knife handles. When I called Oneida they said to use Barkeepers scrub to get rid of the rust. Yes, that worked only for the rust to reappear. I do not think I should have to scrub my knife handles every week…not when the packaging says dishwasher safe. The 1st Oneida rep I spoke with said their flatware is no longer made in the USA and even though it is 18/10 stainless it is not as good as my older sets. Very disappointing!When I called Oneida to request a refund or a replacement with a different pattern they said they will send me 12 new knives…which will only rust again. I do not want to keep using Barkeepers on my silverware.Thank goodness for Amazon. I called them after dealing with Oneida for 3 weeks and Amazon has graciously offered to let me return the silverware. This is exactly what Oneida should have done. They need to take a customer service lesson from Amazon!
