The phone did not work, and after setting up the main ooma VOIP device, Amazon wanted me to send it all back, which would have disrupted my account that is set up, and made me lose maybe a months of service that is paid for. Ooma has provided no help either. I paid extra for something useless to me. Thanks

If I could give this 0 stars I would. Be aware - This product makes you have to buy a software subscription which is a scam - the ‘customer service’ when you call just keep asking you to try all these things that don’t work & attempted to take money from our account but luckily our bank stopped them.

So Ooma messed up with this package. The Telo Air 2 system IS GREAT but the kettle phone is JUNK.The Telo system was super easy to install, works as advertised and the range seems good on the Linx unit.Basically, the kettle phone was broken on arrival - the audio speaker in the handset was dead and rattling around inside. I called Amazon and they gave me $20 credit back which was OK I guess (really barely worth the time I spent on hold trying to get a decision about whether I had to return the entire bundle or just the phone.....also called Ooma but they were not helpful - it's their product but since they didn't sell it they didn't feel responsible). So after that I went online and found another retro phone for considerably more and bought that (we shall see if it's any good) but basically Amazon made money on the whole thing once again. The deck is always stacked huh? Then I took the kettle phone down to my shop and removed the earpiece cover - twist 1/4" and remove. The wiring connections to the speaker had both broken loose but luckily I could tell which wire attached to which terminal so I re-soldered them. The speaker was also supposed to be held in place by blobs of hot glue but those had obviously been applied by a drunken monkey (none of the globs were even CLOSE to the actual speaker) so I removed them and re-glued it properly. Took the unit back upstairs and plugged it in and it works. BUT THE SOUND QUALITY IS TERRIBLE......The wireless panansonics phones I have running on the same system have VERY GOOD SOUND working off the Linx unit so it's obviously this POS kettle phone. Even though I fixed it it's still junk.DO NOT BUY THIS UNIT. Amazon should take it down honestly........

They sell this kit with a phone that looks like a dial phone. It is set to do the dial pulse (switch on bottom of phone) but that does not work with the Linx device, which would be cool if that did support such, but it doesn't. If you get the Telo base hooked up (set up an account with Ooma) the phone does work. You can "pair" the Linx to the base and that works fine as well. Overall this is OK but not beyond the coolest thing ever. I have another Ooma account at a different location and it's worked perfectly for years. The Ooma service and their devices are excellent.

Cute but cheap and literally didn't work.Item "out of stock" now but cannot recommend as I've bought 3 at the same time (I manage homes) and all had the same issue where some buttons used to dial the number, do not work.Called customer service, also very poor. Tech did not understand English so they took me through internet troubleshooting tips even though I explained that the line works (I had brought over a basic phone that called out fine). They went thru unnecessary standard questions then made me send an email requesting a return label. From that email, they replied that I should contact them over phone (full circle) then they followed up to my reply and told me the phone is out of stock. I asked for an exchange and they said they'd send one, but when I asked if that would come UPS or USPS they said USPS and today UPS said by phone is undeliverable (True I won't get it here - we don't get Usps deliveries to my house in a rual area).Which is why my homes need phones. Ugh.
