Installation Step

  • Step 1. Confirm the BLPextrm oxygen sensor according to your car model, year, engine.
  • Step 2. Follow the electrical wire away from the sensor, disconnect it and the O2 sensor.
  • Step 3. Thread the BLPextrm sensor into place and making sure it threads properly and smoothly. Some models are generic which just different in appearance.
  • Step 4. Tighten the o2 sensor and reconnect the electrical wire.
  • Step 5. Use the detection tool to detect the operation and clear the fault code.

  • Can I replace the oxygen (O2) sensor by myself?
  • Yes. However, it is better to let a professional technician help you replace the oxygen sensor to better maintain your car's discharge system.
  • What might be the problem when my check engine light comes on?
  • This may be due to damage to the sensor probe, damage to the sensor body, internal failure of the sensor, external electrical failure or other problems.
  • Why is the fault indicator on?
  • If the fault indicator is on, it does not mean that the sensor is faulty. Different trouble codes mean different situations. Please judge the code carefully and find out the real problem.
  • Can the BLPextrm OE O2 sensor help my vehicle maintain discharge performance?
  • Yes. The BLPextrm OE oxygen (O2) sensor can help the on-board computer on the vehicle adjust the discharge ratio to maintain good discharge performance.

I am changing out my manifolds and y pipe for something a little more free flowing and didn't want to fight the old sensors. These went right in the new pipe and the wiring harness is a direct fit.
